| Usually a female, not just in Fallout, but in most games that have gender choices I will pick a female.
I started doing it for the novelty and it's become so regular for me that playing a guy is more of a novelty now... |

| I got in the habit of playing female characters in RPGs when different genders got different stat bonuses for their class. Most of the classes I played where better suited for female characters, so I tend to play them in Fallout out of habit. |

| On most play throughs I play a male character mainly. On the occasion I want to switch things up I'll make a female character to play as. But 95% of the time I am male. _________________  |

| I prefer female. everything's so played out with males. You're either a grizzled war vet/mechanic/bounty hunter etc or a damn loon. I like playing a female character that shows strong development and can still be beautiful. Most people women just to be walking models and have no strengths or their so generic you'd instantly want to play as a male again. As a black dude i don't even play as a black dude most of the time, so immersion to me is in the mind of the beholder. Plus the dialogue choices i'd like to have for my version of myself in game are STARKLY different than in real life. _________________ I'm the bad guy that says true shit. | I prefer to play as males since I enjoy roleplaying and make the character into essentially me.
However my friends all enjoy females due to as they put it they would rather stare at a chick's ass all game than a guy one. But uhh, I am here to play a game not jerk off. _________________  story of my life |

| Depends on what I'm roleplaying as I guess. | When I started playing FO3 my lone wanderers were mostly females, but as soon as I started FNV my couriers have been male characters.  I'm currently using the same male courier, Ren. |

| I always play as a Male. Just a personal preference really! I don't see why I'd want to play as the opposite gender!

| I always play as male, always. Its weird because i normally have a male and female chars on other RPG games, and one of my main chars for skyrim was female but with fallout i always play male _________________  |

| normally I play a character as similar to me as possible when I'm playing these sandbox rpg games. Though I know dudes that love to play as a female... Especially in Mass Effect |
