As i saw a trailer from the Miniseries "11.22.63" based of a Stephen King book it instantly clicked. The connections (maybe more like inspiration's) are everywhere the more you look around you.

Hell the whole game feels like its a sequel from "The Stand"...the New Plague is Captain Trips?
