So everyone basically agrees that the Dunwich building is the scariest place in FO3 but what do you think is the scariest place in FNV?

I would have to say the REPCONN Test site is pretty creepy. Especially if you have Monster Mod installed then the entire area becomes a jumpscare zombie/monster infested party.

Heh Dead Wind Cavern is scarier vanilla or not. Deathclaw sneak attacks instakilling you or getting cornered with limited armaments is a much more horrifying experience in my opinion

Silver Peak Mine. Especially with the ILO mod because it's even darker. Cazadors are fast and they're worse in a small enclosed space. And not to mention the legendary cazador lives there

North of goodsprings......or any Cazador infested hell-hole


For maximum creepyness i would just say the Sierra Madre. Creepy Ghost people going about. The Cloud making places dark as hell.

Any where with those graves where you can here whispers..... One of them is Goodsprings' cemetery.

Oh yea, forgot about that, the basement of the dunwich building had those too.

Vault 22. No matter how many times I do the "There stands the grass" quest, Vault 22 still creeps me out. The music, atmosphere...almost everything about it just makes me dread going in there.

The scariest place for me is the dead wind cavern.

Like Smokey said, REPCONN test site is horrifying with Monster Mod, and even without it. Another creepy place would be the cave full of Deathclaws.

The Goodspring's Cemetery at night is super creepy with the whole whispering and what not

Sadly, I can't think of any place I find scary. I think it's the campy nature of the game that ruins it for me. That's not to say, however, that I don't enjoy the game.

In my first couple of play throughs Vault 34 would bug the hell out of me. For some reason I would get confused about where to progress, that with the ghoul triggers I would get anxiety and would not want find the bottom. Vault 11 is pretty creepy story wise.

I'd say...Vault 22

It is by far vault 22. Like someone said before it never stops getting eerie. No matter how long im in there or how many times ive been there it stays creepy.

I can't really decide between repconn and vault 22. I mean repconn is dark and has feral ghouls making their creepy noises and vault 22...is vault 22. Hmm, you know I think I gotta give it to vault 22. Cause in repconn once the ghouls are dead no more creepy ghoul noises, but in vault 22 even after everything is dead, you still hear things. Like the whispers, and that damn clicking noise.

I say vault 22 because it is crawling with all them creepy green things that crawl around the place and hide then try and kill you!

Vault 22 as most people say.I cant stand this place!I mean not like I hate it but I dont feel uncomfrtable there,like im getting annoyed with a reason just starring at it,and those plang guys who hide....I use V.A.T.S every 5 seconds to see if some of them is near me.

Every time I enter that Vault I feel uncomfortable, especially inside the 4th floor (Common Areas), where you have that big hall with lots of spores camoflaged.
Also, when you have to set on fire the 5th floor I always enter in a panic mode after launching the grenade (considering I don't have C4 or the detonator... or both), always missing the part of the door that let me close it.

I recently remember how much Charleston Cave scares me, with those invisible nightstalkers that you can spot only with the V.A.T.S.
Better fighing plants than invisible, fast rattle-dogs ;.;

Well, in Dead Money: in Salida del Sol where the bell tower is located, the funeral home to be precise. The ringing of the bell, the ghost people that could attack at any moment and the morbid look of that place made it quite creepy. In the base game, i found vault 11's execution room to be not quite scary, but unnerving because I did not know what it was gonna throw at me at the end of the presentation.
