| After playing it so many times I'm used to each area, but Camp Searchlight and Vault 22 used to make me nervous. I guess I wouldn't necessarily say they scared me though. As for Vault 11, I had to read about it on the wiki for me to fully understand as it just confused me with the notes/ holotape. I realized they killed themselves, but didn't get why. The Sierra Madre was probably the most scary. For me though it was mainly the atmosphere and how you're trapped there.

Vault 11 experiment was a social one where they were told that they must sacrifice one of there own or else they would be all killed, they came to a agreement in where the overseer would always be the sacrifice so hence why some holo/notes where them dreading being chosen. As for the suicide those left finally decided enough is enough and didnt send any one down to die, while waiting for there death they heard from the intercom system a message playing congratulating them on their selflessness and valuing human life. 5 were left alive and are horrified by knowing the vault computer actually didn't want any sacrifices and them sending all those people to there death , they were overcome with guilt and decide to take there own lives on account of they don't deserve to live for what they have done . Thats about it

| In the base game? For me I would have to say that there was no real scary place for me in the base game, but holy hell the Seirra Madre messed me up lol |

| In the base game, Goodsprings cemetery is kinda creepy at night, and Searchlight East Gold Mine is kinda creepy, too. But the Sierra Madre makes both of those look like baskets full of puppies.

| I personally found Vault 22 the scariest place to go in New Vegas.
I cant stand plants and i am sure they give me nightmares sometimes

| @"Platypus" Thank you, the whole part with what the computer wanted initially confused me. I love reading about the lore on each of the vaults though. I was hoping there would be some that were scary in FO4.

| Goodspring cemetery has to be the one for me .There are a few creepy ones ,i dunno about your experience but when i go to the cemetery there are voices in the background .
As for the one that i can confirm that is ture ,well it has to be The Ultraluxe .It feels more like a occult rather than a casion .And everyone wearing that ...mask .Reminds me of The Mysterious Stranger from the Adventures of Mark Twain. |

| While not necessarily scary, I feel like the vaults in NV were the creepiest places in the game. Even though they're uninhabited, the ambient atmosphere made it super creepy and the stories that you don't even see play out in person are some of the best in game, the best example of this is Randall Clarke's/The Survivalists story in Honest Hearts. |

| I would have to go with Camp Guardian. That outpost freaked me out from the start whenever I was within proximity of its distress broadcast. Upon arriving the camp looked like it was ransacked and the troopers are missing. Going through the caves in search of survivors was creepy enough. _________________  |

| The Sierra Madre was definitely the scariest for me. The history of that place is really creepy and there being no music coming from the radio made it even more scary. I was glad when finished that DLC. _________________ The worst part about prison was the dementors.  |
