| Definitely Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Shows even though we think that we can be civilized we are savages deep inside all of us. Definitely great from a philosophical standpoint. |

| My favorite book would have to be Shane by Jack Schaefer. I am a massive fan of the old west and cowboys so this book is right up my alley. Another key factor is the mysterious hero who also has a dark past. The main character shows up with a hidden past but signs of a hard one. I just respect him even though he is a fictional creation. The detail and history makes me see this character as a real person. This is my favorite book. (the movie is horrible) _________________ - My Achievements:

| My favorite book is "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen, you just gotta love those survival stories. (Summary)A thirteen year old boy who, on the way to spend the summer with his divorced father in Canada, is involved in a plane crash and must learn to survive in the Canadian woods. |

| Oooh, favourite books, such an interesting realm~ personally, I'd have to go with either Hunt for Red October (spent some quality time with my dad's 2-in-1 copy of Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games during my trips home from the internship at the German military's IT branch) or with Eric Nylund's novels from the Halo series (The Fall of Reach, First Strike & Ghosts of Onyx are the ones I've read so far) |

| I recently started reading The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler, I think it's my favourite book, prior to that one my favourite was Otherland by Tad Williams. |

| My favorite book would be Death Troopers. Who never thought of zombies in the Star Wars universe, its an overall great book with good characters and really good settings and a great background story. _________________ - My Achievements:

| I like quite a few books but one of the series that I have always enjoyed would be the Nightangel Trilogy by Brent Weeks. _________________ |

| I was about to make a new topic asking about fave books/book series XD (good thing I searched first!)
I don't really have a favorite book per say, mostly because the books I read are series books. I really love the Saga of Seven Suns series, as well as the Artemis Fowl series of books. I'm reading the Meredith Gentry/Meredith NicEssus series by Laurell K. Hamilton at the moment, as well as the Fallen series. I also enjoy all the books by Terry Brooks and Robin Hobb, honestly can't get enough of them. I am a big sci-fi and fantasy reader. _________________ :hellobig: I spend my time watching youtube, playing mods for Fallout 3 and NV as well as Skyrim. | I'd have to say The Hobbit. Even though I had to read it as an old high school assignment, I found it pretty enjoyable. As well as spotting a lot of differences between the original novel and the movie adaption. Those differences always bothered me for some reason. |
