would anybody be able to tell me why I would get a ctd when switching from a modded fallout 4 profile, to a new playthrough profile with none of the mods active.... I launch the new profile with mod mods active, get to the start screen after the launcher and then ctd

Which version of NMM are you using?

The latest NMM version does not produce the issue you are reporting.

Have you installed FNVEdit to check for conflicts and stuff? One mod with missing components will break it all.
