Hello I've been having so many troubles with Nexus Mod Manger its so frustrating.
When ever I try to install some mod (its practically always MCM or Project Nevada) the NMM crashes mid installation but the main thing thats super annoying is half of the files install into my Data folder but NMM does't detect that I installed them so i have to manually delete the files each time it does this and its so often that this happens its soooooooo frustrating. Does anyone else experience this and have any fixes? Thanks. Note: I'm on a new computer so I'm having to reinstall some old mods so i barely have any one so far I only have: Script Extender, MCM (this one crashed while installing), One Hud, and Unified HUD. I just tried installing Project Nevada and it crashed. And this isn't my first time experiencing this...Also Im banned from the Nexus Forums for god knows why :\ so that's why i didn't ask there but here instead.

Try using Fallout Mod Manager instead. Your ban from Nexus may have something to do with their mod manager. I have to constantly run NMM as administrator but when I forget, NMM seems to close down on me since it needs administrative rights to install the mods. But using FOMM would be my best bet to installing mods for now.

I got this bug one time and reinstall the nexus mod manager, and then, everything works fine again.

Try to reinstall it, or if you can install the mod manually, without passing by NMM. Every mods can be install manually.

@Undeadsewer the thing is i'm not banned from the Nexus sites i can still download files it just the forums im banned from. And ill try using the Fallout Mod Manager it seems a bit outdated but still ill give it a try. Thanks

@Kostyan i know that i can install them manually it's just uninstalling them manually tends to break the game thats why i use the mod manger ill try reinstalling it tho thanks.

You may have to format your hd's, reinstall redo windows the whole shabang if its been awhile.

I've also been hearing word that NMM may be some malicious software, which the creator himself might have to check with, or if it is intentional. Either case I recommend you use caution when you use third-party programs like NMM. I stick with the launcher, either that or I still use OBMM, and FOMM for instance. Just a heads up for those who wish to protect their computer, because I for one will not use it at anytime in the future, or ever.

Seeing that I don't use NMM to activate my mods on the games I play, I don't really know the program well enough to troubleshoot or assist you further with this issue. Though I wish you luck in fixing it though.
