I use 3rd person for 90% of travelling and combat.
I only use 1st person when I am using a sniper or when I have to search for something small.

I never played in 3rd person since NV. I like using the ironsights, cause i play many First-Person-Shooters and the 3rd person view feels weird to me xDDDD

I'm using a mod that allows me to see my character when I look down in 1st-person view, similar to in Halo.

I use first person all the time!

First person with the logicdragon mod, you see all your body (Like in Arma!)

First person for everything, but when I get bored and want to look at my character I go to third person.

First person for Gun-play, Third person for Melee.

First Person really puts you into the game, seeing everything through your avatar's eyes however Third person is great for Melee battles and screenshots and the occasional gun that doesn't have working iron sights... ^ ^0

I really wish more games offered the option of third and first person on the fly.

I use First person when i am playing without godmode, and usually use third person to look at guns or armor.

I mainly play in 1st person mode. I only go into third person to admire my character or for melee weapons.

3rd person for travel. 1st for range combat

I personally enjoy 1st person for combat and exploring. Third person is useful to peer around corners or look how intimidating that new armor you just acquired really is!

Most of the time I use 3rd person, because in first person you can't see your character with some great armor.

But when precise shot is required, especially in CQB, 3rd person crosshair for guns is nearly useless because it can't even hit the place you aim.

So most of the time I use 3rd person. When Legion assassin teams come up or fighting in a small space, I'll prefer 1st person.

I prefer the third person gameplay as it is less pressuring I guess?
After 4 hours of my character customization with various armour pieces, weapons and race mods, I'd like to see her face all the time throughout the game)

i would like to play in 3rd person - because i can see the cool armor and my character, but most of the time i end up playing in 1st person because its easier to aim.

I like using the first person perspective just forthe pure immersion that you can get in fallout.

I always play in first person. I find it a lot easier, and I use mods like Project Nevada for more immersion with power armor visors and sunglasses and such. Even a little thing like the brim of a helmet on the top edge of the screen helps.

Third Person when wandering around and First Person when enemies are near. That's what I do anyway.

3rd person, i love to see my character, in the past i used the 1st person, but i prefer the 3rd for combat and travel.
