First person is my personal favorite but i do go to third person from time to time to view my character or to get a better look around a corner

I like for the third person camera for outdoors but I prefer the first person camera for indoors

Having played a good amount of ARMA and a little DayZ I tend to travel in third person, often panning the camera around for the purpose of spatial awareness. When in combat I switch to first person. I just feel like there's more precision in first person.

Generally I only use 3rd person when I'm really, really badly outnumbered. Other than that and occasional peaks at my character's armor, I almost always prefer 1st person.

1st for fighting so I feel more involved, 3rd for walking so I can see my characters current gear

yeah i kinda do the same as everyone else and go 1st person while im fighting and 3rd person just to look at my cough* beast cough* gear

3rd person for exploring and looking like a badass. 1st person in combat.

1st person I rarely go into 3rd person view

I use both. I use the 3rd person camera view when I am just running around. However when I enter any kind of combat or investigation I go into 1st person. But lately I have been using the 1st person camera more, just because the enhanced camera mod, the WAR (weapon animation re-placer) mod, and the enhanced camera compatibility patch for WAR makes first person mod look incredible.

Mostly first person unless exploring or walking away from an explosion cause cool guys don't look at explosions

First person in corridors, and while fighting. Third person otherwise, generally.
Using First person outdoors is unnerving for me, cause I wanna see the surrounding terrain of my character, and it doesn't really work otherwise. On the other hand, using third person in corridors obscures my view and I don't feel like I can do what I need to quickly enough.
It's weird. So both really.

I mainly use third person so i can see my guy and peek corners without exposing myself, but i sometimes switch to first in corridors and in cqc

I switch between frequently. First person I mainly use when looting and in gun fights when I'm manually aiming instead of using VATS. Third person I prefer when I'm out exploring the world, gives a better view so I can keep an eye out and not get snuck up on by any pesky creatures.

I play mostly in first person mode. Thanks to Enchanced Camera mod I don't need to change it to 3rd person anymore and can see my char's body in 1st person one.

But I still sometimes swich to 3rd p. to look at my char's face (kind of habit).

I usually use both 1st and 3rd person but mostly 3rd, mainly because 1st person for some reason makes me feel sick after awhile.

When properly playing the game I'm always in first person. However I do occasionally switch to third, just to see how my character looks at the time.

Usually i explore in third-person, and i always fight in first-person.

When I'm looking for something or fighting/scouting for enemies I use 1st.

I usually use third person when I'm traveling to look at my surroundings while I walk, but I do often switch between the 2 simply for the sake of change.

When not in a battle, 3rd person, since I get to view the nice looking armor(s) that my char is wearing...
In combat, definitely 1st person...
