| In my honest opinion, most of the clothing/armor is....terrible. I'm really sorry to say that and I know alot of people will disagree, but it's true. Most of the clothes and armors look either worn out or rusted. Now there are a few clothes I found appealing like the silver shroud stuff, and the drifter coat, oh....and the Bomber Jacket looks incredible! It looks just like Leon Kennedy's jacket! But with that said, even that was ruined by giving us a dull orange and grey jumpsuit under the jacket itself. Luckily I found a mod which fixed that and made it look much better. Otherwise, yeah I'm not a fan of the normal clothing and armor.
Now Power Armor, that's a different story. They really improved the power armor. I'm at the point where I never want to leave my armor. It has defiantly been an update for the better! |

| i take back my earlier post about not having any super combat ready looking armor the heavy combat armor filled the gap and has completed it for me until mods start getting released. _________________ - My Achievements:

| I'm quite disappointed in the layered armor system. Plenty of opportunities to exploit but it is too limited. Some armors (like the Drifter armor for example) can't equip layered armors, yet there's another variant of it with a lot other mash up (I think Raiders wear 'em, called Cage Armor I think).
Gotta wait till next year at least for a mod to overhaul this system and add more variants even. >_> |

| As far as armor goes, the combat armor looks pretty decent, and the Synth Field Helmet is the coolest helmet I have found so far. |

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/745/? Lots of issues with that mod atm. Clipping is one thing, it doesn't cover all the armors is another. Pip boy problems. Invisible clothings on NPCs...etc. These are all issues collected from the comment section of that mod. I'm just going to wait patiently until the CK comes out. |

| I've seen all of F4 armors, and found only handful nice enough to wear: road leather, combat armor applications, bomber jacket (yet only the retextured one). But frankly speaking I think we are all just too spoiled with all the marvellous armors by @dragbody and "GUNers most wanted" ;-) Recalling vanilla F3 or New Vegas I can't name really good armors apart from ranger gear. Bethesda is not too good in armor fashion design :-)) But the modders are! ;-))) And we're all grateful to them! _________________ There will allways be an Unknown Soldier to save the world and fade away |

| @"danbrother" I agree, I think I'm going to step back into new vegas for a bit. To wait for the release of the creation kit. I have so much more fun with mods, and Drags armors, are sooo pretty! |

| My personal favorite is Kellogg's armor as most of my companions and guards wear military based clothing (Gunner mainly) with leather chest pieces and Kellogg's looks like a military commander's armor _________________ |

| After playing through the game once, there really isn't that many armors to choose from as an actual viable armor. I wish the layered armor system worked with more stuff, but I bet that'll be a mod at some point. |

| If you mix some armors and use the layered armor mod mentioned above, you can get some pretty cool combinations, if you can look past some clipping. I made a Destiny Warlock looking set from it. - Armor:

| One of the under armor sets I like the most is the BOS Officer Uniform, if you haven't seen it yet its basically the normal boss uniform, but it all black. Looks really good with shadowed combat armor. Bit tough to get though, either gotta yoink it off a BOS officer that's wearing one or take it from a dead one. |
