I give it to Old World Blues for being an extra sandbox environment (Lonesome Road is very linear and Honest Hearts and Dead Money lack areas for exploration) with amazing scriptwriting.
Point Lookout is my favorite for Fallout 3, and I would like to see some more of the scripted combat sequences (like falling through the floor or a psycho raider crashing through a door or wall) that were used in it.

A random thought at first has convinced me to make a poll about which story-driven Fallout DLC extension is my favorite.
My favorite DLC extension would have to be Broken Steel because it extended the gameplay almost infinitely unlike New Vegas' ending to where you can't keep playing after the end and see what the effects of your Hoover Dam victory has caused.
Broken Steel continued the story and kept your choices whether you infected the water with the F.E.V Virus or instead accomplished your mother's and father's dream and gave unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
So that leaves you, The VGU community to vote and discuss your favorite story-driven DLC for the Fallout video game series.
I also think Broken Steel is the best because of that. You would need a mod to continue in New Vegas. In Fallout 3 you can continue the story and after you finish you can go back to wandering the wasteland. The best DLC in my opinion.

Lonesome road elevator thingy was sweet. Hold your ground and defend yourself against tunnelers. Modders got to use that elevator thingy again in there quest mods.

Lonesome Road is definitely the best DLC that FNV has. It's story is so rich and the world space is so dynamic. Just the feel of the gameplay is so epic!

On the first time around in Normal mode i liked OWB.
Now that I've really gotten into this whole survival gameplay stuff I, surprisingly enough, feel the most attracted to Dead Money. But in the end, all the DLC's are really enjoyable and memorable
For Fallout 3:I liked them all, but let's say Mothership Zeta because I still enjoy random wacky stuff like aliens

My favourite DLC is by far Broken Steel, as that is how I discovered fallout.

My favorite DLC would be Lonesome Road. Reasons why:
You (the player) dont really know the origins of your past, this makes for a very adaptive story-line, You get a message from a courier who was supposed to deliver the package but backed out because he wanted YOU to take the job...Hell bent on revenge he sends Courier 6 a message to come to the Divide (beautiful atmosphere the Divide was) to settle the score.
The Divide was one of my favorite places, the death of a "nation" as Ulysses puts it, you can certainly feel the amount of death in the Divide, along with the fact it used to be a missile base (Pre-War) and this evidence is shown with the different Defense Station Bunkers.
The fact that you do walk this Lonesome Road alone makes it feel like you must brave through the treacheries by yourself and overcome obstacles just as Ulysses did coming back home to the Divide.

personally i like broken steel as it allows you to feel like you are part of the brotherhood of steel whilst in the main game it just felt like they were using you and the satisfaction of kicking the enclave in the head one last time

I didn't enjoy old world blues that much even tough everyone else seems to enjoy it more than i do because for me it just felt tedious doing those silly tests over and over again with slight variations and i just found it boring

This is a hard question, since I love a lot of DLC of the fallout Universe. OWB was a very fun little romp through 50s sci fi randomness, while The Pitt was more look what society has done. Overall Im gonna go with Mother ship Zeta from Fallout 3, becuase its fun as hell, you get to punch aliens in the face, and how many Dlc's give you a target range?

I like Broken Steel best. All of the FO3 DLCs bring something new to the game, but the story line in Broken Steel just appeals to me. Don't play FONV, so I can only comment on FO3. Just my opinion!!! Cheers!!! V/R MistTiger

I would say that Mothership Zeta is my favorite Fallout DLC, I just like the humor of it.

Broken Steel is my favorite dlc so far. A worthy contender is Honest Hearts because of the worldspace, characters, and back story behind the events. The reason why I put Steel as my personal favorite is because they make it act some mini expansion pack so yeah Bethesda are known for making large dlc(Although I'm a bit disappointed for not making Shivering Isles tier dlc)
Now Broken Steel has at least some side quests, continuing the story, and your action affecting the world. Plus the added armor and perks make my team overkill.

I like The Pitt in Fallout 3 it made the game even more weird and creepy and the final choice where you either take the baby or leave it really hits you.
In New Vegas I would have to go with Lonesome Road, the story was a little confusing, but it added so many cool weapons and armor like the riot gear and the red glare.
