| I have to go with The Pitt, hands down. Such a great dlc. Sure, collecting all of those damn steel ingots were a pain in the ass, but hearing that sound of a platinum trophy unlocking was worth the frustration. _________________ "Something old, something new. | While a lot of people seem to dislike it, I love honest hearts. Zion is beautiful and very well designed, the weapons added are awesome, and I love the story of the tribes and Joshua. Joshua is probably one of my favorite characters in all of fallout. |

| I really loved Anchorage. After a while stuff got boring, i explored everything and nothing was really a challenge anymore. When i stepped into that VR Pod and found myself struggling for ammo and weapons while fighting Chinese soldier and watching my health i finally got excited with this new challenge. That Winterized T51-b as a final reward made me even more excited after i found out it doesn't need repairs. _________________ |

| I got a tie here folks for number one. But heres my top 5 1. Dead Money + Point Lookout. Dead Money I freaken love this DLC. Survival Horror in Fallout? Whats not to love? For this DLC alone, I put on Hardcore Mode, and the drugs are bad mod to make sure I have little to no advantage to the Sierra Madre. Why? Because its fun. I have even made up my own set of rules. - The Rules if you want to try my way out yourself. :
1. Hardcore mode must be on. 2. All food stuffs can only be eaten one at a time. (This means you must wait for the prevoius food stuff to wear off before eating another. This does not include liquids or medical equipment.*See next rule*) 3. Liquids can be injested in plentiful amounts. Being a survivor is thirsty work after all. 4. Medical Equipment must be used in closed off spaces, or behind cover. No telling what bacteria lives in those clouds after all. 5. Armor cannot be changed during battle, and must be changed outside of combat. You must also drop any broken gear or misc items you cant use. (Make sure not to do this in the casino, so you can pick it back up when your leaving.) -Optional- 6. Do your best not to kill off the companions. Extra points if you dont get them killed. 7. Dont be seen by the Holigrams in the casino. After all this is a hiest. 8. Avoid fighting small groups of ghost people. You can knock them out, and if dogs around you have a way of making sure their dead. Otherwise you should either use melee attacks, or knock them out and run. -Not optional- 9. Lock Elijah in the Vault. 10. Dont be a dick, and take all the Gold. Take the Moral of both the Movie (Treasure of the Sierra Madre) and the mod itself and dont be a greedy guts. Take all you can carry. See that whole rule about dropping stuff now makes sense huh?
And then there is Point Lookout, a creepy Diliverance feel and inbred swamp folk. Jesus, whats not to love? Plus you got the even creepier Norman Bates like Motel, the spy story, and Desmond Lockhart. 2. LoneSome Road Very Linear, but this did answer some of my long asked questions. Plus you just gotta love Ulysses's voice. If your NCR, you meet your polar opposite here. A Legion Courier meets an NCR Courier. Why this linear story works so well is because all of this is just between the courier and Ulysses. None else can be involved in their beef. Therefore, nothing else can become a distraction. No other quest. Your here for answers, and thats all. Just like the DLC's name sake, you are on this Lonesome road with Ulysses. And that is why I love the Ulysses Companion. Two sides of the same coin. Ying and Yang. Good and Bad. Ulysses and Courier Six. 3. Old World Blues. Its funny as fuck. And interesting, and doesnt take itself too serious like the other DLC for NV seems to do. I mean, I get to flirt with my brain in that....never thought I'd say that again. But this time its about a game, so its not that wierd. Come on, its whacky and makes fun of so much sci-fi and 50's B-Movie's that you gotta love it. BEHOLD THE EVIL DOCTOR MOBIOUS, AND HIS LEGION OF ROBOT SCORPIONS! Plus ya know, that legendary bloatfly's a challenge and a half. 4. The Pitt. I like the Pitt, but must admit I was a bit disappointed. I mean the Pitt was meant to be this great hell on earth, it was meant to be a place of decay and destruction. I got sooo hyped when I heard I was going there. Then I arrived. And yes, it was a horrible place. But i dont know I was expecting something more than we got. Talking Someguy mod level of morality and pushing the envelope. Dead children, genocide, and all that. Aesthetically speaking it was wonderful, very monsterous, but I wanted something more. So, maybe I am asking a bit too much. Or maybe I have issues who knows? 5. Has to Be Zion. I love Cowboys, I love Indians. I love the whole Western Motif that New Vegas has. Know what I love more though? The Burned Man, Joshua Mother Fucking Graham. Sure, people seem to have a problem with Zion, which I dont see why they would but I love it. Its beautiful, its fun, and its got a nice story to go with it. |

| Oh Boy. This topic hasn't really done well has it? Anyway, reviving this because it looks like it could be good for some Fallout discussion.
Broken Steel is my favourite because it allows for exploration after the main game, and it not only adds a lot of quests for the Brotherhood but also the various cities across the map. I loved destroying the Enclave once and for all and Broken Steel was pretty much what Fallout 3 should've had in it already. |

I agree, Broken Steel or Honest Hearts, although I think Honest Hearts had alot more potential than what it had in the end up |

| There isn't a DLC that I dislike, they all were great in their own ways. However if I had to pick a favorite I'd have to choose The Pitt, even though some parts of it annoyed me I loved the overall feel of it. Out in the Wasteland you're the Lone Wanderer - but in the Pitt you're just another slave trying to survive. Saying that, I'm not looking forward to collecting those damn ingots again _________________ |

| It's a tie between The Pitt and Dead Money. The atmosphere of the Pitt was great. I liked the survival horror aspect and the feeling of hopelessness you experienced as a slave. DM was in similar regard. I think the action in DM was more enjoyable, but my main criticism of DM would be the incredibly obnoxious collar and the fact that there is very little "action" once you get into the Sierra Madre. Once you get in, it's just avoiding holograms and talking. The talking was good, but I would have liked more action inside.
Anyone know if there is any Pitt mods for TTW? Something akin to Point Lookout Reborn? |

| Defiantly Dead Money. I love the story and the aspect of breaking into a sealed hotel to steal some treasure is actually a pretty neat idea! Plus I love the eerie feel the Seirra Madre has. So, yeah. Defiantly my favorite. I just wished that you could recruit Christine as a companion after the DLC. Yes, yes, I know there are mods to do that, but it's not the same. Otherwise, defiantly my favorite. |

| All of the New Vegas DLC, it's hard to pick.
But if I had to probably Dead Money. The lore of the Sierra Madre alone had more soul and personality than anything in Fallout 4. |

| All of New Vegas DLCs are amazing. Dead Money is hands down one of the best expansion packs ever made, for the plot and location alone. Honest Hearts feature probably my favorite Fallout character in Joshua Graham and the amazing sites of Zion National Park, showing how nature just doesn't give a fuck about your nuclear apocalypse. Old World Blues at times is maybe too wacky, but it's sheer insanity is a contained breath of fresh air and callbacks to pulpy fiction Fallout was born out of. Lonesome Road features a true nuclear hellhole, with a great final confrontation true to the franchises spirit, allowing you to talk someone to death.
Although FO3 DLCs were mediocre at best, I still like Point Lookout and it's aesthetic, even if it features hillbillies with tougher skins than that of a power armor. And in the Pitt they actually tried to do some grey&gray morality choices, even if in the end it didn't fully work. (fuck the ingot collection though). The rest of the DLCs are garbage. |

Though I agree most of FO3's DLCs were mediocre, The Pitt pissed me off because it was very well done. It had a non-binary morality and retained some old school design philosophies from the original games, as well as it's atmosphere. The reason that pisses me off is because it shows bethesda can do it right, they just choose not to. |

| @cyber_funk I wouldn't be that surprised to find out that Pitt was handled by different writers than the base game. It definitely feels unique compared to the rest of the game. |
