I can only imagine how crazy this game is going to be with mods.

I am blown away! At everything I honestly don't think a single game will be able to touch Fallout 4 Bethesda just raised the bar. Everyone will now compare most games to it for the rest of e3.

I'm absolutely in love with the armor and gun customization. It gives a feel of you using what you choose, rather than just using whatever you find, and what the devs made to be the best. It's going to be amazing testing out all the different combinations to see what fits my playstyle.
@Gyrard - I totally agree. The variety of laser rifles alone was staggering.

I love Fallout having a voiced protagonist now I don't have to sit there and read everything I want my player to say he/she can simply say it their self.

Bethesda's whole e3 conference was amazing, but Fallout 4 had so much in it I wasn't expecting. My favourite bit was the flying power armour. I really hope they release a GECK for it somewhere near release, or at all. Looking forward to November!

Same here. Â I've been a bit cynical about FO4, but they hit it out of the park tonight... I was just incredibly pleased with what they showed. Â
Huge amounts of customization, jetpacks, voiced player character, a meaningful dog companion, and what sounds like a really interesting story. Â Combat looks like heaps of fun as well. And really just everything. I even thought the default player characters looked amazing.

I don't think there was a single thing mentioned about Fallout 4 I didn't like. After awhile of playing a voiced character I'll start to transpose my inner monologue voice over that one.
On the subject of power armor customization, we seem to have a designation for the Advanced / Remnants Power Armor (X-01) and the new power armor we saw a few times now (T-60b). At the very end of the customization video we also see that he modified the paint of the power armor. The mods on each piece of armor (each leg and arm, chest, and head) are a Mark or Model, Material, and miscellaneous.

Bethesda did exactly what everyone should do: under promise and over deliver. There were some things I was expecting like open vertibirds, slight weapon customization, and power armor customization, but I was not prepared for everything else.
V.A.T.S. Looked so awesome! Instead of pausing time, you get a bullet time effect! And I saw the option to "Execute critical." Do you think this'll mean the occasional execution when you score a critical hit? I'm so curious.
Making your own settlement! It seems like the perfect combination of Wasteland Defense and Real Time Settler! It's always been my dream in Fallout to make my own settlement, but WD and RTS were not very immersive. I can't wait to build my oasis in hell!
Power Armor is actually powerful! Instead of just something you can put on, it acts much more like a vehicle. You climb into it and take control! The HUD you get while in the Power Armor is something I've always looked forward to!
I could keep rambling, but I figured I should let everyone else speak

That was one of the better E3 presentations I've seen, I'm glad that it seems like Bethesda is going to be pushing out a strong lineup for 2015-2016. What was your favorite part of the conference? Personally, I think the crafting system for Fallout 4 was amazing, I am so excited to build fortresses and manage my very own little piece of the wasteland.
The only thing that I'm kind of on the fence about in FO4 is the switch to a dialogue wheel system, and the apparent lack of a skill system. That being said, there's so much we don't know about the game, so I'll wait to cast my judgement. What about you guys? I have to say, I'm hyped!

Weapon customization looks amazing. I wonder how they'll explain the whole "you survived for 200 years and remained exactly the same" without retconning the lore established in FO2 which claimed that people frozen in cyrogenic sleep ended up as goo once they were unfrozen. Also interesting that he's the only survivor of Vault 111, I hope we learned what happened there to cause everyone else's death.

Definitely love that base customization and guns and character's as well as the crafting system. I was going to pre order the one on Steam but then I heard about a collectors edition with a functional pip boy...
That Fallout Shelter app looks good too but it remains a timed exclusive for the moment, Android version will be coming later, as said in this Pete Hines' tweet https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/610294314288021504

Does no one remember Wasteland Defense I think it was called? You could build houses and shacks and things and it could get attacked! Maybe the ol' Bethesda took some inspiration
EDIT: Ah, I see someone has mentioned this!

FO4 customization system reminds me of Dead Space 3. The only thing that does not please me is too rosy render...

The whole presentation was superb, With the exception of the Dishonored 2 announcement, That didn't go as smooth as they would have planned speech wise. Other than that I really enjoyed it.
As for the gameplay shown, I feel like BGS really paid attention to the community and displayed exactly what wasn't perfect in the previous games. (Animations, Lighting, Sound, And of course... the crafting system.)
As for the other games, Dishonored seemed cool and all but a little underwhelming in my opinion, DOOM looked fantastic, Especially with the new Snapmap feature.
I really think these next two years will be great for all of us.

I really like how VATS no longer stops time like it did in FO3 and New Vegas. That part always felt a bit too much for me. It was one thing to have VATS do that in Fallout 1 & 2 since they were turn-based games, but it didn't really seem to fit in with the non-turn-based style that the games were changed to.
I also noticed in one shot that there were little birds flying around. I think that was a really nice little touch of realism.
The running and walking animations were a nice improvement, too. While I'm at it, let's not forget how the Vault Boy icons in the Pip-Boy are animated now.

Everything they showed about Fallout, really excites me. I wasn't really too interested until I saw all the features they're adding in. The hype is real.

Super excited about a lot of the things shown.
I am mostly excited about the fact that an RTS/Wasteland Defense type system is FINALLY being added to a game. The idea of being able to make your own settlement, caravan trade routes, power grids, and more really pleases me. Also super excited for the amount of in depth customization!
