Hey guys! Pretty simple topic here. I've currently been playing through the DUST mod in FNV and I was curious if you guys might have some interesting or crazy stories to tell about your own experiences with the mod. I haven't completed it as of yet and I've yet to let myself go insane. So far the this mod is great for making the game spooky and much more hardcore, if a little demanding. The fact that almost all perks have downsides now kinda sucks. >_<

But anyways, If you've got some whacky stories to share or just want to discuss the mod in general, let's do it!

I like dust lore but my favorite part of fallout games is the quest so I quit dust

My most recent encounter was frustrating!! I was running away from some Raiders and ran into the sewers(bad mistake). I decided to go deeper thinking that I would be able to use one of the exits some where else. Boy, was I wrong. Not only am I still down there, lost, but I'm inches away from dying of radiation with less than 20 bullets in all 5 guns surrounded by ghost. I've been there for 3 days and Idk what to do. I mean I can cheat but then I'd feel like a cheating idiot.

So, I've finally gave this mod a shot. It's frustrating but it's quite good (should've called the mod DAMT - as in, Die A Million Times. Lol!). I have a question though.. I kinda like the environmental haze it creates & wonder if there's a mod that recreates that? I just like the it's effect with my enb.

Ive had extensive experience and it gets easier after the first few attempts

I went into Zion... Biggest mistake i have ever made in Dust. I had to run away from the wendigo and use all my stealth boys to make it to the Sorrow's Camp which was filled with NCR -_-. Other than i got lucky managing to wipe out Nelson, Forlorn Hope and Novac. Its a great experience but depressing as you see some of your favorite characters dead or worse.
