So it's not a secret a lot of people hate Dead Money, but i never seem to see people who enjoy it, personally i love it, i love the challenge, the setting, the story. everything really i enjoy challenge, bit masochistic but fuck it lol, what do y'all think of the infamous DLC for new vegas?

It seems to be hateful DLC. But i played it, this DLC is kinda strange for me, rogue BoS elder, casino robbing... And some survival-ish here...

@Sentra aww nah though i loved all of it, it was a change to the pace of the game, to be cut down and forced from away your equipment, and forced to take on a difficult task with limited supplies and resources

@PsychicKaiser seems logical here, but in plot for is pretty, pretty strange
If there were another DLC, i want some mystic here, with ghosts and magic (but this seem like Skyrim)

@Sentra magic in fallout would be strange but i'd be open to it i suppose after all psionic abilities were a thing, i'd like a DLC where you go to an underground community of mutants and mutated humans, ghouls, failed FEV subjects and things like that, and it'd all be themed around circus freakshows,
with shit like preforming Yao Gui

This DLC was quite a game changer for me; annoying as fuck on Hardcore, with its numerous bear traps, and Ghost People with ridiculous health due to my high level, but nevertheless quite atmospheric, with amazingly well written characters (which I miss so goddamn bad when it comes to Fallout 3 and 4), and a memorable ending which stuck with me for days.

It has been more than 4 years, so I'm anxious to relive it.

EDIT: I personally liked the concept of Dead Money, but I think it was awfully executed. The DLC discouraged exploration and was a bore. Elijah was one of the many human sleeping pills in New Vegas, and you were pretty much forced into conversation with him.

@PsychicKaiser Yes. I agree that Dragbody's DMHO is the best thing that happened for Dead Money DLC. But even without it, DM is still a good DLC. I think Honest Hearts as the worst DLC for FO3 and NV combined.

I have Realistic Weapon Damages mod and it's pretty hardcore with Dead Money, mobs usually one shot you with their throwing spears. I think it's pretty fun, you have to use your survial skills and mobs and the player character are not bullet sponges like in the vanilla game. Dead Money combines horror and survival, which is great combination for nuclear apocalyptic game like Fallout.

I loved the history behind the main characters like Dog/God psicological and spiritual meaning and the dead lover of the casino owner. The ending was really aweome. When I got back to NV I was like.. damn what now?

You're not alone man. The first time I played Dead Money, i immediately liked it for one big reason, its an entirely different ground. You're not anymore a powerhouse, you don't have the best weapons, and you're surely gonna die.

I agree with all the points you listed, and it's why DM is my favourite Fallout DLC, the change is great. Pity we didn't see something like it in FO4.

I used to hate Dead Money and love old world blues. Now I think i overplayed owb and underplayed dm so now i like dm more.

I like the Dead Money story and setting the most. It is hard though. REALLY hard. Also, there is magic in fallout (kinda). There is the Dunwich building and borers. There is Kremvh and the Krivbeknih.
