| So, I have stabile game with 60fps occasionally going down to 50 when loading new cell. But after 2-3hr of constant gaming fps drops to 1 and stays that way until game is restarted. It matters not if indoors or outside, when it happens it stays that way. CPU temperature is around 50C and GPU is around 70C with 99% of usage. Has anyone else encountered this problem, any solutions? PC specs: CPU: Intel I7 6700K @ 4.0 GHz GPU: Nvidia 970GTX RAM: Kingston 32GB @ 2133 MHz Motherboard: Asus z170 pro gaming aura SSD: Kingston OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit - Plugins:

| I'd be interested to see what changes are being made by your Bashed Patch. But I have another idea and it's kind of nebulous.
I'd be really careful about how many mods you're using that make changes to immovable objects in Settlements (like Spring Cleaning). Fallout 4, unlike their previous games uses a lot of precombined references in order to get the game to perform well. You'll know what a precombined reference looks like in places like Sanctuary Hills when you open up the Console Command and attempt to click on a pile of leaves and "disable" it, you'll get a note saying that object has been dereferenced, meaning the object isn't being loaded separately but as part of a more lengthy XCRI subrecord. In other words, modders can't make changes to this specific object without disabling the entire precombined mesh system in this cell. In small amounts, it's not a problem, but when you have enough precombined meshes that have been disturbed in your game it will absolutely destroy performance. So you can use mods like HalkHogan's HD Revised if you want (his toilet seats do look nice) but be aware that installing it comes with an .esp that you can safely delete so that you don't kill your performance. The trade-off is that you won't see the bright new textures everywhere.
In your case, I see mods like "Sunshine Tidings co-op Revamped No DLC.esp" that would absolutely disable a precombined mesh. So, I dunno, the feedback has been variable at best but experiemtn around with those to see if it helps at all. And yeah, your Resurrection mod is going to be a bitch for fps but it doesn't exactly explain why the game would suddenly lock itself to 1 fps until you restart? _________________ |

| @momuse88 As I've said it stays at 60 most of the time, but then there's the title. To be honest with mod such is resurrection I am amazed how well it runs on current configuration considering edit of precombined meshes you've mentioned. I am well aware of the plugin count and I do merge similar mods as much as possible and do not go bonkers on 2-4k irrelevant textures(clutter). It's not a big deal to restart game after few hours of playing, problem is I'm playing on survival and it can take me good 5 minutes to save. |

| do you play borderless windowed or just fullscreen?
I had a problem similar to what you describe when I had opened another program with borderless, and it would never happen with fullscreen (although I hate fullscreen because I like to multitask). |

| @Corvo Fullscreen, alt-tabing isn't a problem with FO4 to my knowledge. And to answer your question, last session I didn't have any programs running in background. |

| Do you have any ENBs installed at the moment? I used to have a similar issue in Skyrim like a year ago or something i had an ENB capping my fps at like 5 fps or something when i entered certain locations in the game. I still don't really know what caused the problem for me but reinstalling the ENB i was using fixed the issue. |

| Yeah, if you have an ENB with "DisablePreloadToVram" enabled, that could be the culprit. |

| @Hauki is a kala @Corvo No, no ENB, no EnBoost. I do have Shadowboost but that's nothing to do with fps cap. I forgot to mention, few days ago when I had longer game session I managed to go through the door (cell transition) and problem was gone but when I exited cell problem reappeared. Also when game finally realise that I was trying for five minutes to open pip-boy/pad to save game it's back to 60fps and back to 1 upon exiting pip-boy/pad. It could be that my mod setup is at my GPU limits, it's around 3,3 GB of VRam usage of 3,5 GB of maximum GPU VRam. At some point it surely hits that 3,5. |
