Funny i just started playing it recently on pc after finishing fallout 4 and still having a itch to play a fallout game.I love it,im playing it fully moded out.and it feels like night and day coming from fallout 4.a different beast but loving it still the same.love the deep rpg elements and the way your choices actually impact the story and your character.Which is the complete oppisite of fallout 4.im planning a playthrough of fallout 3 whsn im done with vegas.maybe through a tale of two wastelands mod.

I would love to, only if someone would port "esp explorer" mod from FO4 to FO3 or FNV, my save game got corrupted and the saves are unplayable apparently its the engines fault if you overwrite the saves they get unstable and creates so much LAG its unplayable, when started new game no lag, fps sudden drop or crashes, nothing.
But finding all the stuff from all mods I merged and downloaded is a pain in the butt, so easy interface like "esp explorer" would differently make me come back to older tittles, doubt that will happen tho the mod author took the mod down and despaired, plus I dont even know if that would be even possible to convert it to previous games, on the other hand it is a simple mod just dont really know any scripting.

P.S. Completed FO3 and FNV like 5 times already so dont really want to start over, even give tale of two wastelands a go.

@linkin79 definitely go with TTW i played it about a year ago (maybe longer) and it was far more stable the fallout 3 itself and its most likely even better now.

@Ansaar, @outerwavez you guys are F-ing legends, now I need to find FO3 version of this mod or attempt to convert it somehow, as I'm more of a FO3 fan than FNV so I spend more playing FO3 but at least now I'm closer to playing older titles again without the fuss of finding all them things again.

Still playing New Vegas here too, went right back to it after Fallout 4. FNV just feels so much better in my opinion.
FNV is the only game which has been on my HDD ever since I got it, the installation even survived three PCs. That way it turned into a Gigabyte eating monster

I'm still playing and modding New Vegas as well. I hadn't played it in years; I just recently came back to it. A few weeks ago I got the urge to jump back into it and load it up with mods. Now I'm looking for ways to contribute to the modding community.

After a year of playing FO4 I can finally say that it no longer holds my interest like Vegas does. I've tried telling myself that Fallout 4 is somehow better, but I just can't bring myself to it. Anyhow, I'm back guys

I was disappointed by Fallout 4, I expected more than that, and it makes me a little sad to see a game with so much potential to be ruin like this ...
I exaggerate, it is not so bad, but I can not compare to the hundreds of hours I spent on NV ...

I originally commented on this post way back in August stating although I'm having a dry spell with New Vegas I always come back to it.

I can confirm I am now back playing New Vegas again, and have been coming back to it again and again ever since it's release.

the activity and modding that still goes on for New Vegas at such a high standard on this Forum is literally perfect for me, I'm so glad I'm not alone. It never quite feels the same coming back to an old game knowing nobody else plays/mods it anymore, at least not ones like RPGs

I'm about to play it for a bit right now, test out some new weapon mods. I thought about doing a new playthrough, but I already have one that I haven't gotten back to yet.

You see, Fallout 4 is not a bad game. It's an excellent game with great gunplay mechanics, just not enough RPG elements. But when you put it next to a game like FONV, it looks like you're putting a cute person next to a really attractive person.

New Vegas is perhaps my favorite Fallout game. I still play and enjoy the hell out of it.

I still play it too, much like many people here it seems. To me NV is still the best in the franchise. Before Fallout 4 came out I did think that perhaps there would be no real reason to go back to NV, but the game overall for me turned out to be a husk of what a Fallout game really should be, it just didn't feel the same at all.

Since FO4 was pretty much an disappointment for me im sticking with NV :/ they streamlined FO4 so much, it feels like an Ubisoft openworld game.
