| Being from Louisiana, I would love to have a Fallout New Orleans game. That would be epic. I was thrilled when New Orleans was featured in Left 4 Dead 2. But in Fallout? I think my heart may explode if it ever comes to fruition. _________________ |

| Tbh we'll just have to wait and see, because this is Bethesda we're talking about here.
Fallout 4 was a fake and never going to happen until they released that trailer before e3.
They're even bringing back Prey and Quake, as a huge surprise.
Bethesda isn't one to have so many leaks out and about considering their game history. |

| Here is the patent that has been filed https://docs.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=http://brianconroy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Fallout-New-Orleans-Trademark-Details-Full.pdf&hl=en
Here is the registered Trademarks of Fallout Globally https://docs.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=http://brianconroy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Fallout-Trademark-Registrations.pdf&hl=en
So yes it's not speculation, I said it last time with Fallout 4 about it being based in Boston and got the same responses on here. I even said it was going to be X64 and at least DX10/11 the full gamebyro engine that Skyrim was supposed to be on. This year we are getting Skyrim released on the full engine. My guess on what I know we will see Fallout New Orleans in at least 2-3 years by Obsidian. As Bethesda is working on the next Elder Scrolls, its how they do their productions. We may not have to wait seven years for a Bethesda Fallout game due to the new studio that was opened by Bethesda as they are expanding to start working on multiple productions at once. _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni |

| I fear getting the hype bug in case it turns out to be a social game or something silly, but another Obsidian game makes me want to skip and dance a little. I really miss the story and companions of New Vegas in FO4. And I really enjoy New Orleans, and it would be amazing to see it through the lens of Fallout. |

| I'm trying to not let it graduate to full hype. Still, there would have to be vampire references, there would have to! Fevre Dream, Interview with a Vampire, all the shows and films that have used it. As a vampire buff New Orleans is a gold mine. |

It would be awesome for Obsidian to make a Fallout, but New Orleans reminds me too much of Point Lookout and Far Harbor. I would rather have someplace snowy, or someplace in a different country.
Also this tweet - Spoiler:
I wholeheartedly agree with this. When I heard about the New Orleans thing a day or two ago, my mind immediately went, "That would just feel like Point Lookout and Far Harbor!" I get it, it looks and plays great in a apocalyptic shooter to be in a boggy atmosphere, but I agree that a new biome is what is needed to spice up the Fallout franchise. That is why I am so looking forward to Fallout Frontier. |

| Call me crazy, but to go to the effort of using a Lucky Eightball image, and not even saying 'No.' outright I'm still not quite convinced. Focus still has to be on FO4 until they have gotten all the money from it they can, so it could well be that Obsidian are under instructions to lie or deflect for a few more months yet.
I mean, it could still be a card game, or as noted above another company having a stab, but if the patent is filed and real then it looks like Fallout: New Orleans is a thing, whatever form it takes.
New Orleans does seem an odd location for Obsidian. I doubt the NCR or Legion have made it that far, and they have seemed to enjoy telling the story of the NCRs growth. But then, after NV and the things that can happen, perhaps they would move away for a while on purpose.
We just can't say this early, I guess.

| What's that? Do you hear a train coming? Should I hop on the hype train? I do hope this is real though, and not some troll registering the trademark. Wonder when Obsidian will start to hint us more. Their twitter feed is hilarious! lol _________________ “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” - Alan Turning

| If FNV is any indication, Obsidian will produce the Fallout game that we actually wanted. _________________ "A drop in the Basket, Is Worth a Shepherd's Shilling" ~ Danka Chevchnov

| Hot damn! Swamps full of critters that'll kill you, weird folk that don't like strangers, food that may or may not have still living aquatic life in it, and zombies. And that's before The Great War!
Seriously, if this ends up being a thing then all is forgiven Bethesda. And, despite what some people think about it, F4 does have really good gunplay so that combined with Obsidian storytelling equals no more sleep. |

| That would be fantastic as I'm a big time Fallout fan and the developers always milk me when it comes to Fallout merchandise, I just have to have it all Bethesda or Obsidian dont really care who makes it just please make it more like the older games meaning, karma and repair system got to come back and get rid of that crappy conversation system you dont even know wtf you gonna say. Would be nice if enclave would come back, talking deathclaws (the intelligent ones from FO tactics) maby BOS MidWest my fav, some physics so when you minigun enemy in half they get cut where the bullets went like in previous old school fallout's yes the game style is different to the modern ones but that would be game changing cos no one managed to pull this off at least dont think so (imagen bloody mess perk with this feature), I'm sure if Obsidian is working on new Fallout they will add some new features prob still same engine Just have to wait patiently and see |

| Oh almighty Obsidian! make those who who had strayed away from Fo4 come back to the light so they can play the game that they have been waiting for 6 YEARS........ Anyway really excited for this hell I don't even care if they do it with the same engine for Fo4 since HOPEFULLY the gameplay, environment, and the story redeems it and Fo4(which imho isn't much of a disappointment for me). |

| Daily reminder that fallout boston project that has been leaked by kotaku was also thought to be a hoax at first, but a few years later, we got fallout 4 _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

Now that I have a more clear understanding of where it's located means I get to spam "Going down the bayou" over and over and some other redneck related music :p If it actually becomes a thing "New Orleans", hope they add some creepy atmosphere to some area's that make you go: "Aw hell naw!" That area filled with dolls in Point Lookout was just major NOPE material. Now I can't stop thinking about a ghoul yelling at you: GET OUT OF MAH SWAMP! |

| @William Lionheart. Oh gosh, yes, those dolls really did creep me out. That and the lighting in Point Lookout. It's a shame that were no actual settlements there outside the small tribal chapel. It was a great location just woefully limited. |

| I've heard rumors floating about an Obsidian fallout game since before FO4 was even released. This comes as no shock, whether or not it's real. I for one hope to see fallout: New York sometime in my life |
