Do you guys know of any alternate start mods for new vegas? There's one on nexus but it doesn't seem like much.

I was hoping to do a legion play through but I couldn't bring myself to do it after seeing how nice people in goodsprings were. I'm kinda looking for a mod that actually puts me right there in the graveyard at the very start and all pissed at humanity and all that.

Roleplayers Alternative Start is the mod that I use. It let's you do all of the typical character creation stuff, but it also adds tons of other options. For instance, you get to choose from several different backgrounds that give you certain SPECIAL and skill bonuses that correspond to the one you chose. Also, you get to choose how wealthy your character is at start. You can also choose two options for starting points: vanilla Goodsprings, or a location that corresponds to your character's History. The latter has multiple locations that get picked randomly for some histories. You can also choose weapon preference, though I cannot remember the options. I know one of them is shotguns, and another is no preference. Can't remember the other 2.

Also, there are multiple Legion starts. I believe they are Legionary, Legion Scout, Legion Slave, and I can't remember the last one. You also start off with gear that follows the legion theme, and you start will some reputation with the Legion. If you're looking for an alternate start mod, this is the one to choose. It's on the nexus.

As far as a mod that starts you in the graveyard, I don't know of one. You might need to make it yourself, but I would really recommend using RAS.

I think it will be well worth it. It's a must have mod for me when I play New Vegas. There's a similar mod for Fallout 3 as well, but I don't remember the name.

there is alternate start. basically it lets you choose wha you want to be and where you want to spawn in the wasteland (randomly picked)
