So, who would win guys? The merciless mercenary group The Gunners, or the tactical soldiers of The Talon Company? I personally think that The Gunner would win with ruthless aggression.

Gunners, they seem more organized and have better combat experience. Talon company seem psychotic and are more in it for just killing people, where as the gunners are in it for the caps.

Gunners, they are organized and well armed to the teeth.
I only like Talon company when they go after me for good karma.

Gunners definitely. Assaultrons and the sentry bots the Gunners keep around would wipe the floor with a battalion of Talon Company.

Talon Mercenaries, they felt more merciless than Gunners and actually have a reason for being hostile, Gunners just sort of appear and are part of the enemy pool.

I never even knew gunners were a special enemy group till I kill them and see they are gunners. I think one part of being a mercenary group is being identifiable so Talon Company for sure, Talon at least seemed to be like a major player in Fallout 3 and they introduce themselves and you know why they hate you.

Another vote for gunners. If I randomly encounter them they put up a hell of a good fight and take a few chunks out of me. If I am able to get the drop on them then they are fairly easy to drop with sniper shots. Except for the Gunner Commander. He is one tough mutha...

I feel that the The Talon Company should Have more story and background to their group. (unless there is, and I completly missed it.)

I would say Talon company. As a whole they are psychotic killers and are therefore motivated in that sense. That also makes Talon more relentless. Talon also appears much more fearsome despite their lack of organization. Talon company is easily identified in comparison to the gunners which look a bit more generic out in the wasteland. Overall Talon company looks a bit more fearsome since they always take the contracts that other mercenary groups reject.

They are both Mercenary's, but the Talon Company will just randomly go after you, if you commit any kind of good act, while the Gunners on the other hand will go after you if you piss them off or operate on their turf, and they are well armed i must say, Missle launcher's, Fat Man's, Assault Rifle's, Super Sledge, Combat Shotguns and hell some of the commander even have suits of Mark 1 T60 Power Armor, the Gunners win in my opinion.

Though the Talon Company were easy identified and seemed to have more of an identity, so do the Gunners. I really enjoy going up against them because they have some of the best loot and when they have their Fatmans and Bots I really have to consider how I'll take them on. Some of my funner fights have been with Gunners and they feel more like a military outfit then the Talons did.

When you hear that Nuke whistle it really gets your attention!

Talon Company. Gun runners are powerful and all that, but Talon got numbers weapons and the skill.

I would have to say the Gunners. They feel like more of a tougher force to be reckon with. They have fatmans, missile launchers, power armor, assaultrons, sentry bots, Mr. Gutsys, the list goes on. They feel like they actually have a strong presence in wasteland. Also, the loot they drop is a lot more satisfying. Like, when you reach a high level, you'll see them using tougher weapons and wearing tougher armor like heavy combat armor. Talon Company may be a lot more psychotic, but they didn't really feel like they had a strong presence the Capital Wasteland like a lot of the characters say they do. There are only like a few bases that you can raid. With the Gunners, they're everywhere. They could have a base in a bridge, or in a swampy area, or in a old factory. I guess you can say that should've had a more psychotic nature and also a better name. Like, the Gunners? Am I the only one that feels that name is kind of weak? Names like BlackHeart, Wolfpack, or Scorpio's pawn, Resurrection Syndicate, or Khaos sounds cooler and more menacing to me.

Seems like the Gunners are a bit better at strategy than the Talon Company. A.I. aside, they just have that presence that gives them a bit more of an edge.

Keep in mind Talon only accepted top best soldiers to join, much like Marines or Special Forces in real life. Where as Gunners accept anyone willing to pull trigger, they might have more numbers but Talon as tougher, and highly more trained soldiers in the end.

Okay so, keeping in mind that Talon Company was in Fallout 3, 8 years ago, and had no where near the amount of gear that's available in Fallout 4 ( the Fatman was actually a rare gun in that game, not found all over the place like it is in Fallout 4), if both groups existed in the same game, I'd say the Talon Company, cause they literally stalk your character, they're not just in various settlements throughout the map. You've could've just wasted all your ammo and stimpaks fighting the enclave or death claws, walk through a door, and look who's waiting for you...f****** Talon Company! Always seemed to find me the worst time.

I think I enjoy Talon Company a bit more. The reason being is because I usually played a good karma run in Fallout 3 and enjoyed the ambushes when they occurred. It seems as though the gunners are really just idle in FO4 (at least for me) and I didn't feel there presence as much as Talon.
