| I feel like a runaway soldier in the wastes using my military grade weapons to survive but i never shy away from conflict because of my soldiers metality. My character is always getting himself into bad situations killing and shooting my way through all my wasteland problems |

| My Fallout originally ran like many others: Overpowered main character with everyone cowering at the sight of him/her.
but lately, I've been leaning more towards having it be less of an easy game about the courier looking for Benny, and more about building an Empire out of the sands of the Mojave.
This basically means that I've been adding mods that add military outposts to conquer, like more legion outposts and NCR strongholds (I love WARZONES). Also, companions that aren't massive bullet sponges, but more along the lines of military specialists, all with their own special pros and cons. I also add house mods that are either fortified bunkers, or defendable ranches scattered across the Mojave and all DLCs.
It's no longer about survival, it's about sending a message. _________________ - Can you figure it out?:

| My copy of Fallout pretty much lies in the same territory as the realism people, except I try to go out of my way to make it bleak, difficult, and at it's best satisfyingly brutal as possible- it's a neat feeling to know you are only a irradiated rain away from collapsing worthlessly from radiation poisoning. |

| My fallout varies massively from start to end-game. Due to the excessive amount of realism and immersion mods, level 1-20 is the "HOLY CRAP A RAIDER/SUPER MUTANT RUN" survival stage of making a name for yourself in quests in order to get much needed XP to survive. 20-40 is the stage where with the right know-how you can take on pretty much anyone in a small group. 40-50+ is the stage where you can waltz right into Cottonwood Cove or the Fiends bunker and annihilate everyone in your path. But getting there is tricky especially with the 40% XP reduction. |

| I have changed mine up again for this playthrough: all about realism. Started out with 40 caps and a knife, using the roleplayer's backpack (you can't have it in your inventory. If you have it, you're wearing it, and you need to drop it to put things in it or take them out. You need to ditch your pack have full mobility and decent aim, and since it's a container that carries everything not in my player's pockets, if I lose it I've also lost most of my gear).
I also only pick up stuff a real person could realisiticaly carry: only a couple of rifles at a time, max 100 wg etc. etc., and if I kill someone and take their armour, I will only wear it if the person I killed was roughly the same size and shape as my PC. No gender-swapped gear.
Oh and it goes without saying, ralisitc damage mods. If I'm going to fight more than two guys at a time, I have to set up mines and choke points or I'll probably get overrun and die. |

| Mine is like a soldier turns Mojave warrior. Its all about wasteland justice, I see something not right I put it right. Most of my mods focus on realism and having to tactically think through each fight because of realistic damage and enemy armors. do I try the stealthy approach with my silenced M4 or do I take that perch and pick off people with my L96 sniper rifle. Or do I bust into a place with my companions guns blazing because there's no time for other options. It's about thinking on your feet. _________________ |

I always found once you start cheating in a game, you lose interest pretty quickly, an standard NV where you carry a golf-bag of guns about and loot everything, kind of feels like cheating. Here's the link to the backpack: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44629/? Followers become pretty valuable, as they can double or triple the amount you can realistically carry, and if you're using XRE cars, I hear there's a truck with storage in the back so you could chuck all the excess junk in there without breaking immersion. It jsut makes it feel more immersive. And I'm a sucker for immersion |
