Man modders are really fixing up Fallout 4 hell i might have to switch from New Vegas to Fallout 4 for all my gun porn needs if this keeps up.

The animation on this looks incredible as well as the right sided bolt. I hope this releases soon because this looks really well done.

it looks a little quick in my opionion, but maybe thats just my video, other than that it looks amazing, never understod why beth whent with the left hand bolt

Finally i could use bolt action rifle's without scope's! The left reload anim bugged me so much

@Havoc I don't have any experience with animations but I find it odd that practicaly every Fo4 weapon is reloaded entirely by your left hand, with the charging handles being always on your left side because of this. I wouldn't have paid much attention to this if the hunting rifle was normal. This video proves it can be done, so I don't understand it either...as if they couldn't have done it.

@VWgolfR1 My guess is bethesda did it to "show off" the guns in motion however the people that take the time to notice that kind of stuff are usually gun nuts(like myself) and instead of being impressed we just get pissed at the inaccuracies of the weapon compared to how most real world weapons work... but thats just a guess

That... That is purely magnificent! I can't wait to see this animation release at some point. It absolutely bothered me that the animation and bolt were on the left side.

This is one of those things that bother me whilst playing some games. Far Cry 2 and Battlefield Bad Company come to mind.

@gibons45 Yeah, I'm a sucker for classic guns as well, and that's quite a solid guess, though remodelling a bolt-action rifle just for that purpose still feels ridiculous as hell.

Alright, someone actually "fixed" that weird left handed bolt in hunting rifles in FO4! I hope when Obsidian makes their own spin-off (like FNV), the guns are properly behaved

New proper animations for Fallout 4 are finally coming true even faster than before, first it was several still amazing mods, now? oh boy I wonder what madders will make after a year from now maybe like many of you said Fallout 4 gun porn will actually leave a tears of joy rather than sadness.


And about that "show off" in FPS games with wrong side of bolt and charging handles, yup totally agree, even better! I think most of this is not only cos of showing all mechanisms and giving more dynamic feel in to the weapons from the first person look (which for me in that case is a total misunderstanding from creators side) but also not many ppl used a real guns and their imagination and ideas are taken from Hollywood movies...


I have been shooting much and all kinds of different real weapons and when I see THIS kind of animations made by modders, it makes me feel... so damn good

It's really weird, there is new animation mods coming out almost every week and there still more to come.

This looks bad, the left handed one is SUPERIOUR to the right handed one. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Just goes to show about the development team cutting corners. They did the left handed version because it was quicker and easier. Meanwhile modders spend their time trying to make things right and my God they succeeded.

The sliding of the bolt is simply more smoother and fluid. Im looking foward to when this is released.

Actually if you don't mind, I would say I feel the opposite about the sliding of the bolt. For me it looks rough and aggressive BUT that's good! I had an occasion to shoot with Mosin-Nagant which is a bolt action rilfe and oh boy.... trust me bolt isn't so fluid like they show in many games, you HAVE to be rough and aggressive while reloading and while doing this... you feel like a god of war (similar joy to reloading M14)
