| @"William Lionheart" Found another way to surive? Definitely that's what I said in my post. My point was that they just would be less developed. I think Metro Redux would be a good example (sans the variety of monsters) of what Russia would be like. |

| China? Maybe. Japan? Very likely not. The USA was the only one that really had both incentive and resources to build such a WMD propaganda machine. China might have been able to pull it off but keep in mind why it invaded Alaska in the first place. I'm convinced that the US was doing relatively well in resources due to having the worlds largest, and at that time, only sources of Uranium and Oil (Alaska and Canada) and thus had resources to build such a machine. China is the only country that could've pulled it off MAYYBEE, but I doubt they would've. _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| @SpaceLord21 I don't see why not Japan. I mean currently they are really far with robotics, far more than other countries. It doesn't mean that we don't hear anything about Japan in Fallout that they couldn't have build a robot like Prime. |

It doesn't mean that we don't hear anything about Japan in Fallout that they couldn't have build a robot like Prime. But that's OUR world. In the Fallout universe most nation states lack the resources to wage war and are barely capable of maintaining themselves. We hear almost nothing about Japan in the Fallout universe and nothing indicating that they lead the world in robotics. As far as we know the US is the world's technological giant in all areas including robotics. In the Fallout universe most nation states are crumbling, and are retracting their technological capabilities and infrastructure. There are no indications that Japan has any ability or incentive to build a giant robot that spews out propaganda and shoots lasers out of it's eyes and throws mini nukes like a football. The chances of a likely dying nation-state such as Japan building such a thing are minuscule at best. _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| I also think it's worth mentioning that Liberty Prime was only viable because he was using handheld nukes as a primary weapon. Gundams, Pacific Rim robots, etc aren't viable investments when a nuclear war is evidently on the horizon. |

Well... I mean... in Pacific Rim Striker Eureka DID use a nuke to blow up some monsters, lol. But I see your point. Also something to point out is that in the Fallout universe mecha weren't the only behemoth of science they were creating. They had the Deathclaws, the giant lizards, and numerous other biological warfare in the works (talking deathclaws?). Now if science was to continue... would something along the lines of a Godzilla have been created to fight wars with? Machine vs Flesh. on a side note. Someone over on loverslab IS creating a Godzilla for Fallout. Using the Deathclaw animations and base. - Godzilla WIP:

| I have thought of the greatest thing ever. If some one added the titans from Warhammer 40k and you had Godzilla they could fight and it would be awesome. _________________ In the blood-soaked Sabbat Worlds Crusade, the massed ranks of the Imperium battle the dark forces of Chaos for dominion.
