| I've always been a fan of The Punisher and the variety of titles and mini series to come from the franchise. He's crossed over into more than a few other storylines and I think, for the most part, they did ok with the grittiness of the subject material in the images. Some were certainly darker than others and he didn't do too bad for a "regular" human being in a world that features super powers. - Spoiler:
The character has certainly influenced my game style and my own writing. |

| He is a tough bastard, and excellent choice man. He is proof that in a world full of supers, a man with nothing to lose is one of the most dangerous individuals. I'm partial to variety of comics, but mostly I love the character and story of (Specifically O Niels)The Question.(If you dont know who he is...watch Justice league or read below.) I mean he is basically the everyman version of Bruce Wayne. Not being a millionaire, he usually uses his fists against his enemies. He works for a living as a Reporter and News Anchor. Hes fighting for a doomed city. He is one of the main supporting character's in JLU (even standing up to SUPERMAN unarmed.......Read over the last few lines to see why thats impressive). AND HE WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR RORSCHACH(and were it not for Dc owners not liking the idea of Moore killing off some of their characters, the question would used instead of Rorschach.)
You gotta love a character that isnt super, has a day life, and only uses his fists. |

anyway, I have a vast knowledge of DC and Marvel heroes and villains as well as origin and alternate stories of several of them. I'm a fan of comics as a medium. I'm a fan of some characters. I'm a fanatic over some stories. I just didn't have the resources to enjoy the full on comic book experience Man that sucks. I would be the same here. I know alot about villians, Heros, and stories and have a few favorites. Hell some comic books have even inspired me in my own writings, much like Brigand. They can express stories that cant be told by words alone. And give us the most sympathetic villian's we could ever hope to see (e.g Magneto). I just hate that thanks to The Big bang theory comic books are seen by some as status symbols, rather than fun little reads which can enlighten and educate in their own way. (e.g. Calvin and Hobbes) |

| I've been reading The Walking Dead comics by Robert Kirkman for awhile now, still going good. I've also been reading some of the New 52 DC comics, mainly Batman and Nightwing. _________________ |

| I grew up reading Marvel comics, am a big Punisher Fan. I still have a lot of comics and comic book cards from when I was little. I like Batman and find the villains of Batman very intriguing. I love how twisted and insane they are. The game Batman Arkham Asylum is loosely based on the Batman graphic novel Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. I enjoy other comics like Hell Blazer from DC/Vertigo. John Constantine to me is a great character. The Walking Dead comic is great, been collecting them. I like the Darkness series from image comics. Mainly a horror fan but I like what ever I find interesting. Like I find Preacher by DC/Vertigo interesting and Neil Gaiman's The Sandman by Vertigo really interesting. _________________ |

Same here, a big horror fan. Great minds eh? I love horror movies, books, comics ect. I am a big Silent Hill fan and even collected some of their comics by IDW Although the Games and original Lore from the games are better than most of the comics, still some of the comic stories are good. |

| They certianly do dont they. Im actually using silent hill two in an Essay I am doing for college. On the question of Existance. Movies, Books, Tv , Games.... Unfortunatly never read a horror comic. At least as far as I know. Silent Hill is always a very interesting game no matter what. Two things players seem to overlook is that each enemy is a representation of the main character. And that Stuffs just cool! (below is my opinion on silent hill games) - Spoiler:
Each Silent Hill is great in its own right. If you can come up with the reason everything's happening. In fact the only reason things to match up in four(at least in my theory) is because Henry is not the towns target. I think it shows that the entity has the ability to make mistakes but soon try to remedy them, when it traps you in the room. So you dont interfere. What caused this? How were you dragged into all this? A peephole. Yes the peephole that was in Henrys room allowed the evil energy to seep through and manifest into its own hole. But its trying to connect back with its source hence why your in the actual victims worlds. Yup Eileen. Silen hill is also responsible for having the first thing that scared me since I was 8. Scarlet. I hate her! She scared the crap out of me. The games overall are an amazing look into human nature and makes us sympathize with a variety of different characters with many flaws

No, you must check out the manga "Brothers" by Koike Kazuo & Kanou Seisaku (warning: do NOT search google for brothers manga...trust me on this). I have absolutely no idea what it's actually "about," as I refuse to even see if an English translation exists, but it is hands down one of the most gonzo, totally batshit things I've ever seen. I was given about 3 of the books close to 20 years ago by an exchange student from Japan and, man, was it a game changer - these were the pre-internet Image Comics days, so pretty much Vertigo was the only stuff worth a damn at the time, minus a select few one-shots and graphic novels. Anyway, if you're looking for something hilarious and weird and totally incomprehensible track it down, as my paltry words just can't do it justice... - Spoiler:
