On consoles placing items on shelves, tables and what not works, but every time you load into the area the items sink deeper and deeper into the furniture and ground.

So I am wondering, considering that mods are coming to consoles, do you think it would be possible to tweak that annoyance and edit the "create mode" beyond just adding new items to it?

Maybe, maybe not. But it definitely sounds like something that will require the creation kit when it comes out.

Makes sense. Have you tried reseating the stuff? Does it do at every settlement?

Every settlement unless I place it using grab or get lucky and drop it where I need it. If I use the build mode I can get it almost perfect but then the sinking issue comes up.

And if you have ever used grab to place something where you want it in a Bethesda game, you know that it's as easy a bathing a pissed off bobcat with a half gallon bucket.
