Hey guys so ive noticed that when i have buffed clothing that boosts your stats, they get negated when you enter power armor. I'm wondering if this is just me or if anybody else is experiencing this and may have found a way to fix it.

Power Armor pretty much is better than any clothing item in the game, so I wouldn't complain much about that.

I do find this really annoying especially since my armor has fortify carry weight on it. It actually makes my carry weight go down when I get into power armor which is really annoying.

Ok so it's not just my game. I was worried a mod was effecting it but I guess it's just a design flaw. Hope when the GECK comes out somebody could find a way to fix it. Maybe Beth fixed it in their patch, but I'm not going to sign onto a beta patch and risk my save.

I have quite a few "slow-down-time" pieces of armor myself... so entering power armor disables this; it is kind of an issue... I'm thinking the trade-off is you basically become more tanky in exchange for everything else on your person.

Experienced this as well. I am wearing Legendary armor that reduces damage from melee attacks and it is negated as soon as I enter into the Power Armor. I hope Bethesda fixes this in the next patch.

I believe the Radiation Suit still works while in Power Armor.

Yes it would because it's adding to the rad resistance. Armor, Energy Resistance, and Rad Resist will stack and add on with the power armor.

However any equipment you have that boosts your SPECIAL stats will be negated by the power armor. I'm actually starting to play without Power Armor as you can move faster, sneak better, and it doesn't feel as claustrophobic when I'm in first person.

I was completely unaware of this sort of thing, but I haven't really been using power too much. My character is all stealthy and snipery and stabby stabby when you no see me and what not, power armor kinda hinders that little aspect of my play style. Now that you mention it though...I do have deep pockets on my armor addons and the last time I got into power armor it felt like my carry weight was about the same, but I wasn't really paying attention. Man, that's a bummer that is does that stuff to your armor yeah hopefully it'll get fixed in a patch or something.
