Hello now I'll try to keep to this short.
My current save on New Vegas is having really really bad stuttering issues that its unplayable. And before you say it, yes I do have stutter remover and I'm using New Vegas 4gb. The thing is about this issue is that I created a test save to see if its my game but it worked perfectly fine, no stutter what so ever it seems it only effects my current save. Also if you say that I should load a older save I use CASM and the oldest save that I have is too recent were it stutters as well. Any ideas whats happening? Or should I just make a new save.

If it's a specific save, have you added any new mods recently? If not, have you traveled to an area for the first time that loads a lot of modded objects?

I recently had the same issue because of a bungled attempt at installing a ton of dragbody mods. I ended up testing each one until I found out which one was causing issues.

hmmm the two main things i see causing this is an overload of scripts or a large save may i ask what script mods you use, how many mods your using over all and how many hours are put into the save having the issue?

@falloutveteran20 I'm using NVEC and a few other mods mostly retexture mods. The save file isn't that old, I think its 2-4 hours old.

@onowrouzi I haven't added any mods though this started happening when I got near the REPCONN test sit. I traveled there on a test save though it didn't effect the save.

i stopped using NVEC as it was causing me to stutter and crash on games after a certain amount of time apparently some of the mods used in it are extremely outdated

The only mod I can think of that heavily effects that area is the Monster Mod.

Try create a new save and look if the problem persists, here I uninstalled NVEC Complete and installed some individual NVEC mods and NVEC Bug Fixes and Reduce CTD.

@falloutveteran20 I love many mods that are in NVEC but its true that many mods in it are outdated. Though many mods in it are also no longer available like Nordic Weapons and other mods in NVEC require editing like the Ulysses companion+TheOutlanders Ulysses face edit. Ill most likely remove NVEC now and get the mods that I like from it.

When I realised most of the mods where available I was very happy to disable NVEC for nordic fire arms Google "fallout new vegas nordic firearms at fileplanet .com I believe he uploaded it there too if your not lucky at finding it online you could find the meshes and textures in the data directory of your fallout new vegas and simply enough make it, it's own standalone mod through the GECK

oh i remember this, you have to kill yourself ( sound stupid but it work, well, for me )

I had this exact issue a while back. I had to revert to an older save when I couldnt find a way to fix it. I tried killing myself, restarting the game, deactivating troublesome mods but nothing...
I hope you have better luck than I did!

Try un-installing Stutter remover and seeing if it makes anything better. I have a friend that removed it and the game was more smooth w/o stutter remover.
