We've had a lot of big films come out this year, from stuff like Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron to films like Ant-Man and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. That trend is set to continue in the last four months of 2015 with stuff like 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' and the James Bond film 'Spectre'.
HOWEVER, none of these films compare to what's coming our way on December 18th. The return of the BIGGEST science fiction movie franchise of all time. A series that is one of the pivotal marks in the movie industry and made sci-fi one of the biggest genres in history. Of course, I'm talking about Star Wars.
The Force Awakens will be the first Star Wars film in ten years, after 2005's Revenge of the Sith. As we all know, it'll also begin 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, introducing new heroes and villains like Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren, as well as bringing back fan favourites like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and R2-D2!
The film will be directed by J.J. Abrams (Star Trek 2009) and will also be the first SW film to be distributed by Disney.

However, what are YOUR thoughts on this movie? Do you think it'll bring back the Star Wars magic, or do you think it's just unnecessary?
My thoughts: I WANT this to be good. I really do, especially since it's set after the original trilogy and introducing new characters and stuff. However, it's been so long. They have a chance of failing, and I hope they don't.
