| Does anyone know what kind of system specs will be required in order to play Fallout 4? I'm just hoping my machine will be able to run it. |

| I would imagine it be anywhere between GTAV and Witcher 3, though closer to Witcher 3.
I'm upgrading closer to Witcher 3 just in case. |

| They'll release systems specs for it once they're closer to release and optimization/etc is locked down. IMO I'd wait for that over 'winging' it. |

I'm upgrading closer to Witcher 3 just in case. Knowing Bethesda, and the kind of game with the kind of content it'll have, even more demanding. _________________ |

| If anything, get a good graphics card like a 970 or even a 980. You will most likely need a lot of vram to run the game, I know that for new vegas with my r9 280, 3gb's of vram is not enough if you plan on using big texture mods. For fallout 4, go for a 980 or a 970, and if you want moddibility to the max, get something akin to a titan, any card with a whole lot of vram _________________ Writer on the Fallout Intensive Project, which aims to bring the Fallout story to the UK.Bug Tester, Interior Creator, Designer and Decorator on the Frontier Mod |

| Not to much more to say on this Topic, The witcher 3 recommended specs are Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz / AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz and about 8 gb of RAM, with a Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 770 / AMD GPU Radeon R9 290. Just hope the games been optimized for the PC. Don't want another Batman problem. So If you can run witcher 3 decently I don't think you shouldn't have a problem with Fallout 4. _________________ |

| I doubt it will be close to Witcher 3 specs. I mean, Bethesda games aren't good looking graphically, even Fo4 doesn't hold a candle to TW3's graphics.
I'd say the system specs would be something like an i3 minimum, 6gb RAM, 30+gb HDD space and a 760/R9 280. _________________ Intel Core i7 6700k - 4.4GHz ASUS Z170 gaming pro motherboard Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3000MHZ DDR4 RAM EVGA GTX 980 Classified 1.5GHz OC Samsung 840 pro 120gb SSD Samsung 840 EVO 500gb SSD Seagate 1tb HDD Corsair RM850 PSU 2x ASUS 24" 1080p monitor 1x DELL 27" 1440p monitor

| If you have a GTX 650/650 TI to a 950"when it comes"/960 you will be able to run it, even a core i3 that is already more powerful than any console cpu. The big thing will be is how good you expect it to look on the pc, and if Bethesda is putting dx11 and x64bit compiled executable with the game like most devs are waking up to these days finally. If that is the case the more beefier hardware you have, the more eye candy you can slam up, and or mod into the game. - FieldPyro wrote:

For you very possibly but that will also depend on what I said above. E3 it was on an Xbox One. You already surpass the hardware that was shown on the E3 gameplay, it depends on how much we can unlock eye candy from view distance and so on. It is safe to say your good to go if your at 1920x1080 or under. _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni |

As long as they optimise it decently then a 880m will do fine on atleast medium/high (maybe even ultra since it sounds like a gaming laptop). |
