My favorite is "My Chrysalis Highwayman" from Fallout 2. It plays when you travel with the Highwayman. "City of the Dead" from Fallout 1 is my other favorite. Mark Morgan is an amazing composer, I'm excited that he's composing the soundtrack for Wasteland 2.

Hmm for Fallout New Vegas it would have to be Nat King Cole' s "Love Me as Though There Were No Tomorrow". For Fallout 3 it hands down has to be "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire". That song and the first teaser for Fallout 3 is what instantly hooked me to the series. I never played the original Fallout but I will eventually.

You really should, its fantastic. However, go into it with no expectations, so the differences don't ruin it for you.
Also, I generally liked Set The World On Fire, but I think it echoing through the empty streets was what made it especially awesome.

Thanks Alixen definitely will give it a go!
Likewise as well. The next series needs to have some dynamic music effects to set up moods like that if the series takes place once again in an urban environment.
I first played the original Fallout games after the teaser trailer for FO3 was released, and left disappointed originally. But years later I went back, and found they have a very definite charm. The NPCs you wouldn't always talk could turn out to have a lot to say. The floating/flavor text above random NPCs heads was hilarious at times, or even thought provoking. NV is more the feel than FO3 from a story and character perspective, even if FO3 gets the atmosphere closer.

Sounds nice. I'm going to play it. Hopefully soon. Thanks for the heads up! I know what you mean. I hope the next Fallout can capture both the story and feel. Which I'm sure they will would love to see an atmosphere like Metro Last Light appear in Fallout.

Blue Moon and Jingle Jangle Jingle are my favorites, and Radiation Baby as well, but I believe that one is from a mod.

I get goosebumps when I hear Peggy Lee's Johnny Guitar in FNV. I love the strings in that track. So sorrowful.
The original video is just awesome as well:

Johnny Guitar and I would say that Big Iron song but I can't because for some reason it plays a bit too often for me and I am starting to hate it other than that, "Anything Goes" from Fallout 3, mainly because of the lyrics and because it helped me with a final exam in Culture Theories (yay for "studying Fallout")
