What's your favorite song to listen to whilst wandering the wastes and dodging power ganger dynamite? Mine would be Lone Star.

Just in New Vegas it would have to be "Big Iron" for me. Always gets my player moving when it comes on the radio.

I love Big Iron, Marty Robbins is awesome anyways...so classic. I wish there was some Sinatra in there somewhere, that would feel so right. Jingle Jangle is pretty sweet too haha. But seriously, Sinatra should be in there..haha

Agreed, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra would've been good additions, but like Elvis, their songs probably cost a fortune to use in the game heh.

For sure. There is a mod that adds some new music to the mojave, and I think it may have Sinatra on it (MAYBE...i haven't looked at the mods music lineup in weeks and don't have it downloaded atm) but I know it adds a lot of atomic era favorites into the radio....might be worth checking out.

I'll cruise around the nexus and take a look, thanks for the suggestion.

There was a topic like this before, I know, I replied in it. And picking a favorite song? Impossible the radio in FNV is so much better than FO3, the songs are just amazing but like I said in the other topic, I'd have to go with Johnny Guitar. Its so...mellowing.

I agree, alot of are pretty good, but i think anyone has that one song they always look forward too. Johnny Guitar is pretty good aswell, but i hear it so many times, i can barely stand it anymore haha.

Heartache by the numbers, hands down. I don't know why, but there's just something about going around with a cherry song to keep your spirits up. It's just alot of fun! And it has a great melody.

Not sure how they are called but nearly every song wich is played on the Old world blues radio. Also I replaced some songs I don't really like with some from GNR cuz they were awsome back in Fallout 3 I have so many favorites in that game and I don't really know how they are called so here are just the 2 radio stations I really like

I actually like all the songs in New Vegas, and it really got me into the American 50's music. I guess my favourites would be Big Iron and Heartaches By The Number, they're just the kind of songs for me you have to listen again when you do once.
And I've got to agree with @snowglobecolector on that, the music that plays in the background of OWB is amazing, it really makes the entire DLC that much better. It's perfectly subtle, you know?

Everyone's already mentioned my three favorites; "Big Iron," "Heartarches by the Number," and "Ain't that a Kick in the Head," so I'll go with the other that I really, really like...
This tune is so strangely badass and nobody ever talks about it because nobody knows the name! Very fun to whistle along to, and very western-y. Really reminds me of "Addio a Cheyenne" from "Once Upon a Time in the West." In fact, I'm very certain it was inspired by it.

Wow! Good call! I'd never really thought about it before, but there are definitely some similarities there.
God, I love that movie and Morricone's score for it.
Back on topic, sort of.
Since everyone else has mostly named everything I'd have thought of, I'd like to add a big shout out to Mr. New Vegas himself!
Wayne Newton nailed it and surpassed the mighty Three Dog, in my opinion.

I would have to say Sit and Dream. It's so mellow and soothing and listening to it whilst fending off an attack from a group of legion assassin's just makes me laugh.

Agreed. Wayne's psuedo-charming attitude always makes me laugh, but Three Dog's energetic optimism gets old for me. Fast. I preferred the charming high-strung lady who filled in for him, always reminding me that I was an asshole over GNR. So much better than karma loss for killing someone.
