My all-time favorite is I Don't Want To Set the World on Fire from Fallout 3 intro
followed up by Blue Moon from New Vegas It's kind of neat how all the New Vegas quests are named after songs.
I got to admit, when I started playing fallout again I actually was listening to songs from the time period and actually grew to enjoy listening to them. Much more sensible than half the stuff floating around nowadays.

I'll agree when I think of Fallout I think of I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire...truly a classic!
From New Vegas it has always been Johnny Guitar. Great song...great film!!!

My favorite is a kiss to build a dream on by Louis Armstrong, from the Fallout 2 intro.
Of course The Ink Spots I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire from Fallout 3 and Maybe from Fallout 1 are absolutely fantastic as well.
For some reason the New Vegas soundtrack didn't really grab me, is was good but not Ink Spots good, i really like In The Shadow Of The Valley though.
I'm guessing mods don't count but if they did then my favorite would definitely be Bert the Turtle from the CONELRAD 640-1240 - Civil Defense Radio Mod. haha

I really got to check out the classic Fallout soundtracks sometime! How would you say they compare to FO3?

The original Fallouts didn't really use licensed music apart from the intro video.
While i love fallout 3s ambient soundtrack it can't really compere to Mark Morgan's work on the classic games.
Here is one of my favorites, Gold Slouch from the Fallout 2, it was used for a little mining town with a dark and not so subtle secret called Redding.
Mark Morgan is probably my favorite composer, i use the Fallout 1 and 2 soundtracks as extra ambient music in Fallout 3, fits so well. haha
Edit: Woohoo! I just hit 400 posts, hears to 400 more!

There are a lot of really awesome songs in FNV. But my favourite are: 1. Blue Moon; 2. Let's Ride into the Sunset Together; 3. I'm so Blue; 4. In the Shadow of the Valley.

My favourite Fallout song is Civilization.
I like it because it isn't too intense and it's very catchy.
