If you could pick only 3 skills to max out what would they be and why?

All other skills stay at 15 and can't be increased.

Speech, Barter and Sneak. You can talk your way out of stuff with social skills, you can get rich with barter and if the Sith hits the fan (^^) you can sneak your way out to safety. I'm more of a live and let live kind of guy

As a matter of fact that's kinda the way I play Fallout. I set Project Nevada to give me only 3 skill points per level and chose Speech, Barter and Sneak as bonus skills in the beginning at Doc Mitchell.

Crap. hmm. I would pick guns, explosives, and speech. I choose those because my character is a man that knows his weapon craft. He is also a man that had a father who was a mercenary and knew how to get out of some tough shit. Then again, my other skills for my character is repair, survival, sneak, medicine, melee, and unarmed. I know its a little overboard with the skills lol.

Depending on the type of character I'm playing as would determine my three skills, if I was playing as my bounty hunter character it would be guns sneak and unarmed, for my rouge type character it would be speech sneak and guns, for my evil legion character it would be unarmed melee weapons and survival.

i would go for guns because all the weapons or almost all the weapons i use fit in that catigory and then i would do charisma and barter so i could get more guns

Guns, Energy Weapons, Explosives, All three of these are suited to combat which is very handy in the game because you will probably use all of these throughout the first few chapters of the game

Energy weapons, Repair and lockpick. Just a good overall skill set to max.

Sneak,guns,lockpick. I like to play like a assassin

F#*! Uhm, in that case, lockpick, repair, and guns. In those are the keys to killing everything, running the economy, and, er, not needing to have the keys for everything else in the game.

I would go for Science, Energy Weapons and Speech, Love to kill thugs with energy weapons unless they are willing to listen to reason

No matter what I always go Speech, science and lock pick from there I get medicine or repair. then on other play throughs I do classes

Lockpick, so i could get all the unique weapons. Repair, it doesn`t matter if i have 100 guns if they jam all the time. For the third I would probably pick guns (although speech is better) because I couldn`t get access to all the perks i wanted

Hmm.... Lockpick, Speech and probably Guns. Can't really say cos I don't really know what the numbers on my other skills'll be. If I had to put the points in some other skill I'll just keep Repair at 60 so I can get jury-rigging.

Speech, Science, Medicine all the way. You can get past most of the missions that way, and then you have sneak criticals, Stealth Boys and Stimpaks when all else fails

Guns, Lockpick and Sneak. It would suck not having Repair, but I'd make do.

If we are talking about in real life the for those reasons

Speech: If someone is trying to kill you , you can try talking him out of it
Guns: To shoot him if things go bad lol
Repair: So your gun don't jam when your attempting to shoot :p

God it would have to be science (becasue i'm a nerd) energy weapons (thank's to the eve mod for making them cool) and sneak (just because why not you know)
