| Captures my emotions to the T. Loved like 99% of it. What I didn't like? Voiced main character lol. I know, I know I shouldn't feel that way but it's weird, I just do. |

| Yeah, I get ya. I'm generally just kind of disappointed, in that I really like all the gameplay shown but the voiced protag/Mass Effect-type conversation trees just ruin it for me. |

Couldnt have said it any better, the whole com-a-rose thing looks like it was some weird Mass Effect style game, I kind of preferred the box, even if that meant for a less cinematic feel, over all I think Beth is going for a larger cinematic feel with that being said and the voiced pro-tag, they may just put in an option for no voices, actually, that wont work because, the comarose only had short lines for the character to say, so scratch that, I mean I don't have an issue with it that bad, but it may be an immersion breaker, which has always been a huge factor for me in these games. I don't know about the rest of you but I played as if I was the MC in these types of games where the character is not definitely set, allowing for me to get really into the game. Also the game also reminded me of X-COM: The Bureau with just how the dialogue went in the intro of the game and the whole 1950s ish feeling, does anyone know where I'm getting at or am I just crazy?

| Judging from the claims. I'm curious about the whole "No Skills" now for Fallout 4. Think they'll be just perks? |

Forming assumptions based on what was/wasn't covered in the 10min or so we saw of the game is pretty poor reasoning. Of course they're not going to show every feature, stat etc... they never have. Bethesda has always been notoriously low-key about their games. |

| MrMattyPlays on Youtube discusses how Fallout 4 may be more S.P.E.C.I.A.L. or Perk-focused, rather than skill focused, to allow greater variety in character creation. It also appears there are a massive amount of perks due to the appearance of the perk poster. _________________ "They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. | By the looks of the graphics and gameplay, to my knowledge were not going to need enb anymore! _________________ Through the roads we walk, it is the lessons that make us Never Be Afraid

| But the assumptions are real lol. There is no indication of any Skills needed. Even the way the SPECIALS are worded do not indicate any need for Skills. I am curious however what they will do with Lockpick and Hacking. I suspect you'll probably need those "Science" perks like you would need for those weapons.
I really hope the Crowbar stays as a weapon lol. I know that's random but I really like the Crowbar. |

| Very disappointed that they went the voiced protagonist/dialogue-wheel route. I need some good, intelligent dialogue options!
Other than that, the graphics are pretty and I'd bet that it will play better, mechanics-wise, than either Fallout 3 or New Vegas. |

| When you liste carefully the E3 show, the objectives are pretty clear :
- player freedom, - combat, - dynamic universel.
Didn't hear anything about great dialogues, or complexe relationships. |

| Since I deeply disliked Fallout 3, I was cautious towards Fallout 4. Now that I saw the E3 presentation I am completely hyped. Even if they ruin the lore like they did before, even if the story is bad as Fallout 3's, I will still like it simply because the gameplay and the sandbox-ness make up for it.
Layered armour damage. Layered armour and clothing. Completely customised weapons and power armour. Your own settlement that will advance and advance. It's like they actually heard the fanbase and learned from their mistakes.
If I'm not mistaken, the skills will be like Skyrim's skill, you will need to use the skills to advance with them, not just put skill points.
Plus, they got Troy Baker, so I'll definitely roleplay as Joel from the Last of Us, which is one of my favourite games. |

| well all what i can say is that I liked what i see so far and i am so excited of what else this game has features beyond this gameplay. I dont mind the voice actor dialog really doesnt bother me that much maybe the HUD a little cause maybe i still like fo3 and fnv HUD but thats nothing. What i was afraid of before was when seeing the Pre-Apocalyptic Phase of the game it looked like "The Sims" Theme like cartoonish but after that part has gone all was awesome can't wait to play it! |

| This post should be deleted as I commented on the E3 gameplay which I did not know had been made into a separate topic. Also, I had already commented here. There is no option to delete when I try to edit and I have now moved my comment into the right topic. Thanks.

| Subject: fallout 4 enclave and BOS theory Thu Jun 18, 2015 11:12 pm | |
| ok so after watching many youtube vids that point out details ive come up with a theory
ok so some one pointed out about the player shooting at the BOS so i think it may be possible that these ones are the opposite to fallout 3s brother hood where these guys are well hostile to all wastelanders and want to keep tech from them by killing them.
so now the enclave mattyplays thinks they may be in fallout 4 so if hes right well like everyone says how many times do the enclave have to be killed so im thinking this time they may be a rouge group of enclave that disagree with the enclave methods and want to help people
what do u all think? _________________ |
