| There are many creepy areas in Fallout. Like Vault 11, Old Olney, the Deathclaw Sanctuary, etc. For me, the areas that scared me the most is Dunwich Building(probably one of the scariest and most fascinating areas in Fallout), Radscorpion Gulch, Camp Guardian(damn Radscorpions with their beedy eyes and animations), and Camp Searchlight(the queen literally made me want to go to the bathroom and shit myself). _________________ Flickr | STEAM | NEXUS <--- Where you can connect with me |

| My scariest area was because of a weird choice in a mod, actually. One of the sound replacer mods, I forget which one, added ghostly whispers to certain areas. So I'd be walking in the dark tunnels, listening to the whispers and groans of the dead. Did. Not. Like. Though it was fun thinking up theories for why my character was hearing these things. Stress-induced hallucinations was my go-to explanation. |

| I think it was an old version of Digital Nightmare that you were using. I remember having the same thing happen to me. I thought it was really cool then scary, really. _________________ Flickr | STEAM | NEXUS <--- Where you can connect with me |

| I don't think there was any specific area that scared me, but there were a few locations that I got spooked a bit.
I was over at Sloan in the middle of the night. I was watching the dust storm from the quarry while deciding if I should go in or not. Out of nowhere, I start hearing deathclaw footsteps and panting. I turn a bit to the right and see that there is a deathclaw about ten feet away from me. My stats were low enough that I was basically dead in one hit. That experience legitimately scared me for a few minutes.
Also, I got a bit scared the first time I heard one of the feral ghouls growling in Fallout 3. I couldn't see them, but they showed up on my radar. I didn't know what the growling was, and it freaked me out a bit.
I've also been surprise-attacked by radscorpions from behind a few times. They're not scary, but anything that comes at me from behind and out of nowhere tends to make me jump a little. _________________ |

Mm, no. I've never had a problem with DN other than it didn't really fit well with the game, imo. I'm 98% certain it was Ambient Wasteland 2. Great mod, with a bit of user editing to get rid of some of the more questionable choices. |

| Probably Vault 22 from FNV, because it introduced contrast in form of vegetation compared to all other FNV locations, enemies fit perfectly in environment and there is element of camouflage. |

| The place that dragbody's armors are in. The husks scare the crap out of me. Probably because they have way creepier eyes than they do in the actual Mass Effect games and stare at you. |

| I think the Dunwich building in Fallout 3 was pretty scary. In a basement I found one crazed ghoul and a demonic obelisk in the middle of a room. I researched this and the building, the crazed ghoul, the obelisk is a cool nod to H.P. Lovecraft. |

| I'd say any of the vaults. More so the one Vault in which you see ghosts of the past residence. Also the cube mod for F3. _________________ Molon Labe |

| When I were playing Fo3 the first time, and I went down into the metro tunnels, and I met my first Ghoul, with no ammo. I got quite spooked. Always hated the metro's, but at the same time they are quite interesting to explore. _________________ ᅚᅚᅚ

| I'd say Deathclaw Promontory where you get the enclave remnant power armor. Or north of goodsprings because Cazadors. Or any place with scorpions. Or if you have MoMod installed the places with tarantulas. The metro tunnels aren't that bad. I hate Repconn more than the metro tunnels |

| Obviously Dunwich Building I still don't know what is up with that place, was that statue at the bottom ever explained? And pretty much any of the derelict vaults, they're all creepy but most especially that vault with the purple mind control gas and the super mutant vault too. Those really stuck out to me the most because of the atmosphere in there, the super mutant vault was all dark and there were bags of organs everywhere. It had me on edge the whole time.
In Fallout New Vegas I'd say the Sierra Madre, god it was so creepy the music didn't help either. You didn't have all your over powered gear you were so vulnerable throughout that dlc, you had to sneak around and avoid fights for most of the time because you didn't have 80 stimpaks anymore you were lucky to have 5. The ghost people were creepy just how they moved, they were all twitchy and they'd walk slow at first then just lunge at you real quick, and the noises they make ugh. And they remained a mystery for the most part. We know that they were construction workers who had those suits issued to them, but that's about it. We still don't know what they are exactly and how they survived this long. For me that's what makes them creepy, just thinking about what they look like under those suits, what the cloud did to them, and what they do to anyone they drag away ugggh. I really liked Dead Money if that wasn't obvious enough. |

| The Dunwich Building. Nope. Nopity Nope.
No amount of mini nukes or 5.56 could ever convince me to go into that place. I honestly wish there was a mod where you can use the Megaton nuke to wipe the place (and everything in it) off of the map forever. |

| Vault 106 in FO3. Just strolling through the corridors of the vault could lead to a massive hallucination of people from your own vault dying, in fear, constant iterations of your Dad in the game left me hugging a teddy bear, especially after the insane survivors of the vault would come after me with a knife.
One thing that really got to me in that vault was that in the farthest level of the vault, there was a doctor simply named "Survivor" while all other NPCs in the vault were named "Insane Survivor".
...meaning this lone scientist, clad in Vault-Tec science gear, was STILL exposing the residence to the gas that Vault 106 was using to turn its population insane, even after 200 GODDAMN YEARS.
If that doesn't show how messed up "Project Safehouse" was, then maybe you should visit vault 106.
P.S. for those that don't know, Vault vaults were actually divine social experiments. Vault 106's was to slowly expose the population to nerve gas that would slowly cause the residents to go bat-shit CRAZY. _________________ - Can you figure it out?:

| I think one of the first times I felt scared in a fallout game was the first time I crawled my way through the DC Subway system. The darkness combined with tight spaces, marauders, mutants, and ghouls shouting in the distance had me checking every corner. |
