| Well my most feared place used to be the metro stations in fallout 3 for some reason I would just hide because ghouls used to scare me a bit but in fallout new vegas probably anywhere there is a deathclaw they just freak me out in vegas. _________________ ''To the edge of the universe and back endure and survive''.

| The Vault 34 very scary place. Back in fallaut 3 I did not like finding mission to the GECK. The Vault 34 is very similar to that. _________________ Dictum - Factum |

| In New Vegas, I gotta say Vault 34.. a change in the lighting and then IWS, a flashlight or night vision was a requirement. Not to mention there were enough ghouls to create a literal wall of bodies in a doorway.
In Fallout 3, a few of the metro areas, and then the Dunwich building, just plain creepy. _________________ "Deeper meaning resides in the fairy tales told to me in my childhood than in any truth that is taught in life." Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller

| Meeting the Master in the Cathedral. Hell, even when I watched a video he creeps me out. That and when I went to find the unique Gatling Laser inside the Deathclaw Promotory. |

| Like most people, Dunwich Building was the worst. The reason why I hated this place a lot was because I never knew what I was going to encounter. Here's the story:
One day, I was exploring the far corners of DC, I saw the building and thought, "Hey, why not explore this building, there's gotta be stuff in here." I walked in there with Fawkes and my trusty Dart Gun. I never looked at the Fallout wiki as often at this time so I went in blindly. When I entered, it was your typical rundown building with food and junk scattered everywhere. I walked around grabbing various food when I came across a holo tape. Listened to it nothing really important. So I continued further down.
Eventually, I came across a little office. When I opened the door and walked in a bit, I saw the coffee mug on the desk topple over and I believe a fan fall off the desk. I was a bit startled but I shrugged it off thinking it was just something wrong with the collision mesh (most Fallout 3 and New Vegas players know the collision meshes aren't the best). So I continued on. Eventually, after walking down a hall , I came across a large office space with cubicals. As I entered in a I was completely startled when the sudden flashback had popped up onto my screen. As soon as the flashback faded away, I was greeted by a Glowing One which Fawkes and I quickly dispatched.m
What really got me was the odd ritual going on in the building. I thought that this scene could be from the movies. After the encounter I just decided to play something else.
Welp, that's my story.

| Only things that got me were Vault 34 and Dunwich. Other than that my custom companions making noise in tense situations making me jump! _________________ |

| I don't know if any area was "scary", but Point Lookout was definitely the creepiest. Those voodoo dolls everywhere were a nice touch. |

| Like a lot of the other people on this topic I think it's the The Dunwich building. Fuck this building. Seriously. FUCK THIS BUILDING. Unless you are looking to get scared shitless, stay the hell away from this building . A ton of weird and crazy stuff happens in this creepy building, not to mention that its filled to the brim with feral ghouls. _________________ |

| Yeah, the Dunwich building was a surprisingly dark place for a game that generally doesn't delve in to supernatural horror/thrillers. Those flashing images gave me quite the jump scare the first time through.
I also thought some of the areas in FO3 that had distress radios playing were creepy. Hearing one last desperate plea that someone out there was listening in a wasteland where clearly no one was around to hear it was a bit unsettling. |
