| They both feel so different, especially with architecture mods to replace the vanilla buildings. FO3 is great as a true gritty and decimated city, but FONV is so harsh and alone most of the time. I love them both, I just wish somehow they were a part of each other (I don't mean TTW or anything similar). Vegas fits the outer feel of the place, D.C. fits the inner part of the space for me, ideally. _________________ Check Me Out @ The Nexus: SKYZOO |

| It depends on how you look at the wasteland in general. For ruins of civilization with all of it's destroyed communications and wrecked huge buildings it's a capitol wasteland. But i liked a desolation and desert more, with a few places to hide in case of a danger. So i'd pick a mojave wasteland, plus it's the closest thing you'll gete for your original Fallout 1/2 experience. _________________ "And the Iceman cometh Sander baby. The Iceman f%#&ing cometh..." |

| Mojave. Not simply because it reminds me of Mad Max, but because of the world, the settlements, the gangs, the raiders. The world of Mojave makes sense, it has farms, it has trade routes, supplies, the major factions, politics. Capitol Wasteland was, for me, a wasted potential in Fallout 3. |

| after playing New Vegas for so long i believe that it just feels like a desert with some enimies hanging around and it never feels like it was in anyway affected by the bombs. Like bombing a desert wouldnt change anything and it didnt _________________ |

| The Capitol Wasteland for sure. Not only is it more interesting, it just felt so much more a live then the Mohave did. The metro tunnels were scary and kept you waiting for that one ghoul who was gonna pop out and scare the crap out of you. The factions actually felt like they had a presence and were powerful and the overall design just felt so much better. The towns had interesting npc's to talk to and it just felt more complete to me. |

| There was definitely more life in Capital Wasteland and I loved it, however I enjoyed New Vegas a whole lot more. I always ask the question "What do they eat" and "How do they eat". When it came to the Capital Wasteland I saw no one farming. I didn't see anyone trying to remake a life. It was as if the bombs hit not too long ago, or they just barely got out of the vaults (all of them) and is barely starting to get things rolling.
New Vegas on the other hand you can see time has passed. You can see people trying to live, and move forward with their lives. |

| While I do think that both have their pros and cons, I prefer the Mojave. This is in part due to the better writing at Obsidian, as they did a better job of showing that even after the bombs fell there continued to be civilization.
Unlike the Capital Wasteland, the Mojave's sparse population is easier to excuse. It's a desert after all, it's never going to be a well populated area. _________________ All I want for Christmas is a Super Sledge

| Definitely, the Mojave Wasteland. Why?. Two special places Freeside and the Strip. The Capital wasteland is awesome and has the most interesting atmosphere, but it doesn't have those two areas. Gambling and wandering around there is for me something that can't be topped. |

| Capital Wasteland for simply being more interesting, Like theirs always a new place to explore and dwell into. The Mojave feels flat and really barebones in some places. A huge chunk of the map is unused and the lack of enemies to face really loses my interest real quick. Yes mods fix these problems but without mods, you got a pretty bare wasteland with a whole lot of nothing. Plus if your rocking TTW like me then why not both? lel

| That's a hard one. I love the capital wasteland because when your in DC you feel like your in a desperate situation but I love the mojave wasteland because it goes back to its roots and the awesome factions like the NCR and the Legion. So for me I would have to say the mojave wasteland. |

| I liked both but if your talking about which one's looked more apocalyptic i'd give it to Capital Wasteland. though the Mojave had a more variety to it's environment, it made more sense for rad scorpions to belong in the Mojave because its their type of environment rather than being in the capital where the environment doesn't really suit them. Just my opinion. Also another point, the capital wasteland gives off this depressing theme of hopelessness because everything seems dead. |

| I like the Mojave better than DC. Simply because of its Atmosphere. Open Space, the Desert but still the possibility of Danger behind every Rock. To Camp in the Night in the Mojave (with Mod even though i think it should have been Vanilla) with a Campfire and a Bedroll has a whole different feel to it than in DC. In DC you can surely stay in a Building over Night with a Fire and a Bedroll, but its not the same feeling. But to be fair the Main Story was Better in DC imo. |

| the overall post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the Capital Wasteland is by far the best I have ever encountered in any game, the overall destitution and harshness, it was so beautifully ugly. _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| Definitely Mojave! It's a wild, lawless, interesting playground filled with amazing sights, creatures, and people. I love the feeling of being a lone ranger character, righting wrongs and being a gunslinger cowboy character. It's a nice futuristic take on the wild west |

| Expanding on Hectymccs point, the Mojave was incredibly interesting, it was filled with more memorable characters (other than dad) and more memorable battles, like Dead Wind Cavern, the death claw battles.
However, I felt that Fallout Three had a sad, gloomy type atmosphere to it, and I enjoyed the exteriors of the destroyed buildings more. _________________ - I wrote:

| The Capital Wasteland, because it had that scary feeling whenever you entered a building. |
