| It's almost 12:00 am and I am extremely bored, so here's a topic that's already similar to on that has already been made but is being made again because I have no imagination. Hurray! My favorite companion is Hope Lies. She can be annoying at times with her religious outbursts and does nothing but slow me down in battle, but she makes me look like a total bad ass when I'm standing next her! She can be pretty helpful too I guess. Screenshot - Spoiler:
Share your favorite companion. Be it either vanilla, modded, or both. Hope Lies: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57141/? _________________ "Don't know really."

| Mine on the lore friendly side is either Niner or Desmond Harper. They both have interesting stories and quests and say random things as you go about through the wastes especially Desmond who says what everyone is thinking. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48002/? <---Niner http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47028/? <---- Desmond - Screen shots:

| Russel is a great companion and he should have replaced boone in the original edition of the game. His story is so thought out so well and the mod authors spent a lot of time on it. Definitely should have been vanilla, fits into the lore so well. |

| Raul is the best, I don't ever play without him. I have repair skill 100, and with his perk, I don't even have to repair anything |

| My favorite Lore Friendly companion is Russel from Someguy2000 Russel comments on a lot of what is going on in the wasteland and you can ask his opinion on factions like Legion and House. He has a great back story and is voice acted. _________________ |

| The companion I choose most of the time off custom mods are the two companions, Mr. Pencil and the Cat companion from the Beyond Boulder Dome mod. They both work well with lore and have been voice acted even with extra dialog when you head back into the wasteland. _________________ Hold your tongue, wastrel! |

Mr. Pencil and the Cat? I must've missed out on those. I ditched the cat when I passed by it cause it looked weird and I've never seen Mr. Pencil. I rushed through that mod so fast, it wasn't healthy for my enjoyment because I ignored a majority of the quests and content. _________________ "Don't know really."

| Definitely Niner he actually feels like a friend while doing a play-through of the game something that the vanilla companions failed to do |

| With the recent update to dragbody's armor pack he added the panzerhund from wolfenstein in their and it looks lore friendly and looks like something you'd run across in fallout. |

| Delilah is a great companion mod as well (as long as you also use the alternate VO pack). Lore friendly and useful. _________________ |

| When I played the Xbox 360 Fallout 3 dogmeat was my favorite companion. Loved the idea of having man's best friend with you in the lonely wasteland. I honestly grew so attacked to him that I would have to reload a previous save when he died, even if it was an hour back. I got so paranoid about the whole thing that I always kept him in my home so he didn't die. That reminds me that have to go find dogmeat in my play-through of TTW... The novelty has since worn off lol. _________________ |

| My favorite companion has to be Desmond. He is a modded companion but very lore-friendly. He has a lot of cool features like he draws his weapon when you do and he has a full lip-sync voiced dialogue and he randomly says things when you do or kill something. _________________ - My Achievements:

| If you liked Hope Lies you should try Vincent Vincent, He's made by the same mod author kristakahashi (who also created "interesting npcs" for Skyrim) I can't post a link but you can find him on the Nexus. |

| I would say the Deathclaw companion mod, but for human wastelanders Russel hands down. A fleshed out story from an incredible mod developer, plus he carries a great weapon in combat. _________________ “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” - Alan Turning
