| An idea for all of the games like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout NV, and Fallout 3. The idea is say make an evil character and go through the game and you have another character, but he/she is a good character, after everyone has been defeated your good or evil character would face that character in a final battle the final boss. It's idea that I've always toyed with, but not sure if possible if it is I believe it would be a great mod. |

| So what you're suggesting is a mod that adds the ability to create two player characters in a single playthrough? In my head I would imagine another quest line being added parallel to the main quest, to support 2 player characters. |

| Yeah something like that it would be probably heavy scripted and a very lengthy quest line about the same amount of time it takes to complete the main quest line. |

| That actually does sound pretty interesting. Reminds me of the oblivion shivering isles dlc when you have to fight a clone of yourself. hm. _________________ |

| Sadly I am completely incapable of playing an evil character. I tried to be a renegade in ME2 and felt awful every time I said something mean to a crewmate, reloaded my game several times. >_< |

| I only play evil characters when I'm really bored doing the same good playthroughs all over again. |

| I play a mix of both. Good characters of mine do heroic deeds, and is more understanding towards my evil characters with a backstory as to why they're doing it, also dealing with situations in a peaceful way. Sometimes the pen is mightier than the sword. That's just an expression that effective communication is better than sheer brutality. Some of my evil characters end up doing good for my good characters anyway, but they're not as merciful when it comes to dealing with violent, radical characters. Some of my evil characters for instance could be possible mercenaries for hire. Though they're less tolerant, and will likely deal with situations quicker than you'd expect, but always in a messy way. It's always 'getting their hands dirty'.
I don't know though. Maybe both my good and evil characters are dedicated for one purpose, loyal to each other. Sometimes they fought against each other, even in the past wars, they did. But both knowing they have bigger enemies than each other, I don't see this battle just as between good and evil. | Yeah I have a hard time playing an evil character as well; I'll be a good guy for a playthrough then I'm all like "alright I am going to be evil now" then it doesn't happen. It's probably just not in my nature haha. _________________ |

| I wanted to do a new ME1 playthrough where I... deal with Wrex, so that the option to save Mordin is present in ME3. But I just couldn't. As much as I love Mordin it just seems so wrong to not only kill Wrex, but also let Maelon die, sabotage the genophage AND let Eve die just to save him.
I have no idea what dummy at Bioware came up with that... "lets tie saving one of the best characters in the series to a bunch of really, really terrible things the player has to do!"

I was always wondering why couldn't we leave a boring character with a communication device (in that tower), and have Mordin give him instructions so that he could stay alive. My Wrex died in my first playthrough and I was shocked, so I did what any supreme master of saves would do, I loaded previously saved file and made sure that he survives. But I had no problem leaving that Ashley girl on Virmire, little did I know that there will be consequences... a gay commander Shepard in first playthrough of ME3. |

| Sometimes im Evil Some times in Good i aways balance those because sometimes the Evil the Choice the good Choice and the Good choice is a bad choice. |

I love playing evil. But while all of my Shepards are very Renegade, I am always nice to my crewmates. Unless the crewmate is Ashley Williams. I'm an asshole to her. She also blows up on Virmire. Every. Single. Time. Take that, you xenophobic bitch. There's should've been an option where when Kaidan asks you why you left her behind, Shepard says "Because I hated her guts." or something like that. Anyway, back on topic. I'm the reverse of you. I'm completely incapable of playing a good character. I feel like I'm being weak if I'm good. And far less badass. An example would be in Mass Effect 3. When convincing the Quarians to stop firing at the Geth, the Renegade persuasion option has you say "I"m tired of saving your asses! I will watch you burn if you don't stop attacking the Geth!" while the Paragon option basically has you say "Pretty please stop firing at the Geth?" If I get good karma, (In Fallout) I actually say "Ew, good karma! I need to be more evil." *enslaves 20 people* I usually always have Very Evil karma. Probably -1,000, which is the lowest you can get. I wish the Elder Scrolls games had a Karma system, as pretty much the only way to track how evil my character is is to check my "Murders" stat. |

| I hated Ash and Kaiden both Julum, but I think I hated Ash more. The xenophobic stuff got to me too... its a shame ME2 and ME3 made Ash and Kaiden pretty much M/F versions of the same, whiny character, at least there were distinct differences in ME1. In ME3 I did the Renegade interrupts on Ash every time, like on Mars, where I basically told her to STFU. I also let Garrus shoot her once But yeah, different approaches I guess, I'm pretty nice in real life until I'm provoked (at which point I become a ridiculously unreasonable b**h) - apparently that carries over into my games! |

| If you ask me I take the game of thrones approach. There are no good or evil characters, most people are in between. My characters are usually that way, but mostly, my characters are mercenaries that do things for money and don't really care. I usually do the good stuff, but its not unlike me to do something questionable either, not something evil for the sake of evil.
New Vegas is very much a morally grey game when it comes to the characters IMO. If you look at the factions, no one faction is either wholly good or wholly evil. In fact if it hadn't been for Bethesda's timetables, we might have seen legion territory, which was unfortunately cut. We would have had a different perspective about them. Even then their approach is still not invalid. Just like Independence isn't a completely good out come.
I like it when things are that way, extremes of any kind are never good, nor are they ever realistic anyway. In short if you were to ask me, there is no good or evil, there's just people. |

| Miyazaki has that Game Of Thrones approach with his characters. At end it comes down to perspective, evil/good it just depends on way you look at things. |

| I agree that the only way to bring about that type of confrontation would be via a mod. However, trying to control two characters at the same time without some sort of turn based action is going to be challenging to say the least. A mod that would change your first character into an NPC that followed their karma level would be more realistic. that way your second character could meet the first who would act strictly on karma.
On the idea of good vs. evil characters. I always start out good until someone upsets me and I kill them. In my games, I do a lot of good deeds but do not have a lot of patience. An NPC smarting off is going to end up very quickly dead or enslaved. I try to be good...Really.
