I hate it too, I just killed the mighty Caesar and nothing changes except radio new vegas mentioning it and some Ncr talking about it. There is the quest with Chief Hanlon, but that is it.

I honestly didn't know who Ceaser was until I killed him. I actually wandered into the legion camp by accident. Mainly because when I play an open world game I put off any main quests for a while and just explore so I didn't even know he existed yet.

Wish they had a cut scene telling about his death and if someone had replaced him.

Yeah, the response is underwhelming. However, I've always thought that one of the funnest and most memorable moments in the game was actually committing the act. Especially if you have Boone in your party. I've only seen him happy twice: before you kill Caesar and after.

i wish that was the real ending you kill legate and then go for him.

Big let down concerning Caesar, a final push or at least him showing up at the Dam to watch the destruction would have been a better solution. I do enjoy giving him a strong lead diet at the fort though.

I've killed the Caesar only once, i regret. Because the repercurssion of the fact is ridiculous! No one cares, the legion still strong, its stupid! It ruined my current playthrough, and doing it all again just for that is frustratin to say the least! Important characters like him should make a great deal in the story!
