Hi everyone,
I haven't played New Vegas in many years and suddenly got the itch last week, so I booted it up, added a few mods that I always used and started playing.
Initially it was a bit laggy outdoors, but manageable until I entered Victors shack and it felt like I was moving too fast for the game to catch up, if that makes sense? After two or three more buildings with the same result I deleted the texture packs and restarted which seemed to fix the problem until I had a crash about three hours in, after that it's gone back to the same stuttering indoors (outdoors is still smooth).
For a little more information I have to runs NVSE as an admin which I've never had to do previously, the game also crashes on exiting, could the problem be stemming from NVSE not loading properly? I'm also now using Vortex instead of the NMM
Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and found a work around? I am not really a computer savvy person so thanks for any help.
I'll post specs but I did play Fallout 3 via TTW last year with no problems so I don't think it's hardware related but as I said I'm not good with computers.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
Ram: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Thanks in advance!
