| Guns or Energy Weapons?
Explosives, yes or no?
Does heavier equals better? Or is fast, light and maneuverable the way to go?
What's your favorite? |

| I really don't use Energy weapons at all. Every play through I do is always always Guns that use bullets. I tend to favor machine guns and shot guns. Hardly pistols but every now and then.
I use grenades for my explosives, always carry around 6 to 10 of them.
Not really a heavy guy, I like the fast and light. _________________ |

| I would be a jack of all trades excluding melee. I'm best with Assault rifles and Shotguns. |

| Depends on which Fallout we’re talking about, but across the board I’ve always been more of a Guns person.
In New Vegas I was running around with the All-American the most, and in FO4 I think I used the combat rifle the most.
I think I didn’t use explosives that much in FNV, maybe the mercenary grenade rifle a bit at the start, until I got the Red Glare, then I used that now and then. In FO4 my explosives usage increased since there was the grenade hotkey, usually used molotovs at the start before switching to frag grenades, cos both of them tend to be highly abundant.
Assuming no mods, of course. Who needs vanilla weapons with mods amirite. |

| I usually keep things simple; Handgun, Knife, and maybe a sniper rifle. Sometimes I might also bring an assault rifle or SMG, but overall I try to travel light because I like to be stealthy and it's quite immersion breaking for me to be carrying tons of weaponry in my inventory all at once during infiltration. _________________ [New Signature To Be Added Later]

| I usually use lighter silenced guns like snipers, pistols and assault rifles and I use energy weapons usually later game once I have a surplus of ammo. My favourite guns for New Vegas are Christine's silenced Sniper, The Survivalists Rifle and Lil' Devil. My favourite Energy weapons are The Holorifle, Elijah s Advanced LAER and of course the Alien Blaster. As far as it goes for Melee the only weapons I use are Chances Knife early game and Blood Nap after Lonesome Road, I never use weapons like the Tesla Cannon or Mini Gun to much of a hassle to carry around and the burn through ammo way to fast not worth it in my opinion. _________________ "Well, assuming you survive the radiation sickness, the lynch mobs, and the possibility of going feral, one day you'll get old and decrepit, like me." - Raul Alfonso Tejada, 2281 |

| I usually favour guns over energy weapons even though there are some amazing energy weapons such as, the holorifle, ycs186, the metal blaster, and a few others, explosives are usually a no for me as they feel very under-powered and are quite an inconvenience to use, as far as heavy weapons go, i usually stay away from them as they feel so bulky and seem to consume so much ammo in comparison to the smaller weapons such as the dinner bell, pew pew, and the christine COS rifle etc. _________________ - My Mods:

| I always try to do a light gun mix. Usually a long range rifle, a combat rifle, and a shotgun or pistol. Heavy and energy just seems so messy and bulky, but that's just me. |

| @"Kaiser Atlas" Finally someone who likes energy weapons, lol. I know plenty of Fallout fans are gun enthusiasts, I am as well, but it seemed weird to me that nobody liked them. Energy weapons are cool as hell, and more versatile than guns due to their ammunition.
I also assumed people were more partial to big weapons, I know I am, and the answers I'm getting are sort of the opposite. |

What's your favorite? Guns, preferably assault rifles and the like and some grenades for the heavier enemies is usually how I roll. |

| I've grown partial to energy weapons over the years, but there's a certain appeal to a high powered rifle tearing someone's head clean off |

| I am conventional ballistics and explosives all day! The ability to take on a legion assassin squad in one or two grenade rounds really puts a smile on my face. Plus, I always felt like powder and bullets had a greater sense of impact than laser and plasma weaponry (save for the Gauss Rifle, which had punch to it). I've tried so many times to play a Brotherhood Knight, in power armor and carrying a laser rifle, but continually found the weapons to just feel...dull while I played. I'm not big on melee either, for that matter. |

| I love weapons that are lightweight, especially sawn off shotguns, i dont know why its just a cool tactical feeling, I use bowie knives, and combat knives, typically because im currently in a traveling mercenary build, the lightweight weapons make scavenging a lot easier when u can carry more than a couple pieces of scrap metal and food. Explosives are also the way to go, especially mines, great way to set up a good ambush plan, or just have a safety spot designated for after the firefight begins |

If you like sawn off shotguns in Fallout, I can readily recommend the TOZ-66 by Millenia for Fallout: New Vegas. It is a 20ga and easily one of the sexiest double-barrel shotguns I've seen in any game. It comes with mods to cut down the barrel and stock to reduce weight and increase impact. It also looks fantastic! |

| Don't really use energy weapons, mostly focus on shell based one instead. Normally carry an LMG, Sniper of some kind, and a pistol. Usually shy away from heavy weapons but always make sure to carry a few grenades with me. |

| Does anyone else have a hard time really working out their loadout?
I mean, I know there's only so much access at level intervals, and Fallout 3 was REALLY simple: Combat Shotgun and Chinese Assault Rifle.
The issue I have is wanting like...a decent weapon of every category. So I have a pistol (9mm or 10mm), a shotgun (preferably Hunting or Lever-Action), and some kind of a precision rifle (Hunting Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Service Rifle, even Varmint Rifle). I don't tend to carry heavy weapons like mini-guns and missile launchers. Mini-guns can be glitchy, and Missile Launchers just aren't cost effective with ammunition, weight, and how often I actually have to use them. |
