Dead Money
Chapter 1: Gathering Collars 8, 12 and 14 The Courier awoke in a daze. Once he got his bearings, his vision appeared blurred and tiring. A flash of blue light appeared above him, an image of a face of an old withered man projected from where this other holographic model of a lady stood. It was revealed that the Courier had been kidnapped, knocked out by some gas from what he last remembered, and brought to this strange land, by this old man somehow. A collar rested around his neck and the old man threatened that if he did not do as he said, he'll detonate it. The Courier demanded why he was brought here and the holographic image explained only that this was a break-in to the casino above the villa fountain, a "heist of the centuries" as he put. Extra hands were needed to pull off this heist and told him where they were. Armed with a juryrigged granade launcher that lay lying beside the fountain, he headed off to find collar 8 as he was told to find him first.
The Sierra Madre:
The streets were deserted, dead like. He had never seen such a place like this. He was cautioned of the inhabitants that roamed the streets and how difficult they were to kill. Collar 8 was not far from the Courier woke up from, just at a police station, and these inhabitants had not shown themselves. Inside the police station, where the air felt so much cleaner to breathe, a hunched up Nightkin sat inside a holding cell, whimpering and crying out for someone. From the stories he remembered, the Courier understood that these Supermutants and Nightkins were created for the sole purpose of conquering all of California and the entire world for The Master. This one cried out for his master, though he was unsure which for he served the old man. Inspecting the place carefully, he found an audio tape in the basement. It was placed there by someone, a recording, for the old man himself to find. Playing it in front of the mutant, its demeanour changed to that of a more intelligent mutant of first-generation mutants. They spoke for some time, learning what new knowledge they both harboured. This mutant had brought him here, a slave to the old man. The old man, the mutant God who knew his name, was Father Elijah, the former elder of the Brotherhood of Steel. God slipped up that Dog only listens to the commands of Elijah and he had a recording of Elijah on his pipboy. Playing it, the mutant's demeanour changed back to that scared, nervous persona. He freed him and headed off to find collar 12.
Dog/God:
The streets still remained desolate and they hurried on over to find collar 12. The Courier discovered how toxic the air truly was. His pipboy showed how much his health had deteriorated. He could not be outside for long. Thankfully, 12 was inside a medical clinic. As he soon found, security holograms patrolled the halls and it was impossible to fight them. Dog and he navigated the place quietly to find a way to turn off both the holograms and the radios since radio frequencies interfered with the bomb collar's signal and could set them off. Collar 12 was trapped inside an auto-doc and was operated upon. The Courier told Dog to head to the fountain and wait there. Christine, Collar 12's real name, was a mute. He had some skill in sign language and this was how Christine was able to communicate. Leaving the station they were amushed by the inhabitants, the Ghost People. They wouldn't go down, no matter how many times the Courier blasted them with the holorifle. Only when they cut off their limps did they stay down for perminant.
Christine:
The last person was not far from where Christine was at but entering the district, bombs and traps lay scattered throughout the area. Tiptoeing, carefully deactivating the traps, they slowly made their way through. Ghost People still roamed about and they fought them while traps laid in close proximity. Now that the area was much safer after their scuffle, he told Christine to also head to the fountain and wait there. Finally reaching Collar 14, Dean Domino, he was told to sit down so they could chat. This was another trap, a bomb was tugged away in the cushion, and the Courier paid close attention. They struck a deal that the Courier will take orders from him. Once that was over, thankfully with his bottom intact, they returned to the fountain for the next steps of the heist.
Dean Domino:

Operation Endgame - Preparations:
Disclaimer: As I am nearing the end of this series of screenshots, though after this I will make more screen stories that are deemed 'less' political. As it is, I put this warning disclaimer up in advance on all of my spoilers that there is indeed confirmed political references to the real world events. I ask for the sake of the community and it's staff that we do not conform to political discussions here on GUN. However, the rules did not say anything about political context in mods or screenshots, just don't talk about them here on this forum, it's threads,,, it's pretty obvious. There is Steam, YouTube, Discord, all sorts of social media platforms out there to have such discussions, but not here. I do not tend to turn this community into a warzone, it's not my purpose, not what I signed up for. You may or may not agree with me on certain things, but that's okay. You have your opinion and beliefs, as I have mine. That being said, I continue course until an overseer or sentinel asks me to stop. Until then, I march forward. Those of you who like my works and art, hats off to you. If you don't like it, well tough. Close the spoiler and move on. Don't be a dick and abuse the rep system because you simply don't like it. From my understanding, the rep system is only used for people who are actually breaking the rules but in a more reckless manner. Thank you for reading and understanding, and without further ado,,, today's story...
And FYI, these are screens taken in Fallout New Vegas if anyone's wondering where these screens are based from. With ENB setting. I am not familiar which ENB I'm currently using though...

@d_ahat, @ilyava, I'm glad you've enjoyed this so far. Thank you.
Chapter 2: The Gala Event "Do this and I'll let you go, I'll let all of you go." The crew stood as Elijah's last words were spoken and his projection faded. All was quiet in the villa for the task at hand was not going to be easy. None knew each other well, none could trust each other entirely even with bomb collars linked. The graffiti and bodies showed that people stabbed each other in the back to have the treasure of the Madre for themselves, not even the collars dissuaded them. To survive this nightmare, they had to trust each other. For a few hours in the villa fountain, they spoke, learning from what they could of this dark place and who they were. Dean was an entertainer, a singer of the Old World, and showed disdain for the Sierra Madre casino and the person who built it, Frederick Sinclair. He knew the Starlet hologram above the fountain, her name Vera Keyes. Said he introduced her to the owner, though he wasn't forthcoming about every secret he knew of this place before the bombs struck and so kept a lid down. Christine, from what he could figure out, was looking for someone. The Courier thought it be someone dear and asked if it was someone she cared for. She looked lost in her thoughts and shook her head. Pointing at his pipboy and at the place where Elijah spoke to them, the Courier realised it was he who she was after. Still curious, he asked why. Elijah had separated her from someone, drawing two fingers apart, one of the fingers she points at herself. Going through a list, he asked whether it was family, a close friend, a boyfriend or girlfriend. She seemed more hesitant to answer about a girlfriend. The Courier didn't go any further about it, unsure whether it was appropriate. He did remember about his friend and companion, Veronica, who mentioned she fell in love with a girl and got separated. He lastly went to Dog and found difficulty in talking to him in a coherent manner. He switched to God and spoke at length about who he truly was. He was a manifestation of some kind that appeared not long after The Master's death, who tried to guide Dog and keep him from hurting people. Dog tried desperately to suppress God by causing great harm unto himself, putting his own arm in a bear trap for instance. Father Elijah was a new voice, one very much like The Master, that Dog followed without confrontation nor hesitation. God was trying to free Dog from Elijah's influence and save him.
The first to be in their position to trigger the Gala Event to open the casino was Christine. The area was filled with the Ghost People, armed with bombs and spears. They were lucky to have survived this encounter with so many of these creatures. The Switching Station was another obstacle they had to overcome; the cloud had seeped in, poisoning an entire area, which forced them to go straight through it. Finally, they made it to where she was supposed to. They held hands before the Courier said goodbye, hopefully not his last farewell to her. Dean proved easier to reach his position as it was through the same villa area he and Christine had fought through. The Ghost People still were a menace to kill, even with Dean's experience of living in this evil place for two-hundred years. Once reaching his place, he was unwilling to stay here, for he said when the Gala is triggered the whole street would be swarmed with Ghost People. Holographic security came to mind and the Courier wandered about to see if he could activate them. Thankfully, they were fully operational and lit up the street in their blue aura. Dean still needed convincing they weren't going to shut off from some mechanical failure and the Courier pointed out the Starlet who had stood for two-hundred years without failure. Lastly, Dog was the final person he needed in their position. The area Dog needed to be in was immensely challenging to navigate and survive, Ghost People preyed on the roofs and dropped their deadly explosives down. Injured and tired, they had come to where they needed to be at but Dog refused to be here. He had been here before, doing exactly the same thing, terrified of sounds awoken in the streets. The casino had been opened once not too long ago it appeared. The Courier brought God out to see if he was more cooperative. He would only do it if he brought him Ghost meat to keep Dog in his 'cage'. A gruesome task it was, he brought the meat to him and God got into place. The only person now to get to their position and trigger the Gala, to open the casino at last, was the Courier.
Spoiler:
Alone; for many hours he had been accompanied and was hardly ever alone except to return to the fountain to get his next companion to their position, but now he was truly alone. He felt nervous, frightened even. He had no one at his side and had to walk this path by himself. The streets laid bare and barren, a stench of death polluted it. It appeared the Ghost People were waiting for him, an ambush of spears thrown at him, cutting up his armour he retrieved from the medical clinic. It was an agonisingly slow journey to the bell tower, every corner had to be monitored closely, his stims to be within reach and checking his ammo for his Holorifle. The numbers of Ghost People greatly increased the closer he got to the tower. It was a hard struggle and an exhausting one, but, in the end, he reached a ladder leading up to the tower. There, he contacted the others and Elijah, the event could start and so it did. Fireworks flew across the sky and exploded in a dazzling display of wonder and music sounded powerfully across the whole villa. The Gala Event was triggered and the casino opened.

At 05 00 hours, Pacific Standard Time, 12 different locations across the globe were breached, in what appears to be a coordinated attack by an unknown enemy. All breaches were along major cities and military bases in what is a campaign of rapid dominance. This is a textbook military invasion. New York has gone dark, suffered major casualties. Defensive lines are being set up in Texas. America is on the brink of total collapse, the Navy's fleet sunk without a shot fired, cities and towns falling to enemy control with little to no resistance.
The First Order has arrived. New order shall be established on the primitives. Should they refuse to cooperate......
