Alright everybody, I've been modding New Vegas again for a few days and have accumulated a large amount of mods. However, near the end, after I activate any Mods, the game will crash so I'm stuck on 152 Mods. What's the issue here?

Edit 1: Down to 121 mods, still crashing

Sorry but i don't get it, does it happen when you're already in the game? or when you try to run the game?

@"ElMaldito" It would happen when I launch the game and would crash getting to the final background screen before the menu pops up (Note the music just cuts and crashes. Note 2: While modding I activated 5 mods at a time and would launch the game to see if here would be problems)

Edit: Deactivated all mods except TTW and its still crashing :\\

Have you run the load order through FONVEdit ? Even when I'm testing, whatever the game, I use XEdit for that game to constantly check for conflicts. It's my go to tool for modding. I haven't had FONV loaded up for a while so I can't really help with a specific mod.

@"jacoboriley" I used both FOMM, FNVEdit, LOOT, and of course NMM to check for conflicts. There wasn't any conflicts but after disabling all mods including TTW, running the game, Verifying, re-activating TTW, the game works now, will attempt this again.

I kind of figured you did. Just like modding though....just when you're about ready to bash the keyboard something clicks and you're off and running.

Edit: Game crashed soon as a deactivated and reactivated a mod and slapped on a ENB LMAOOO

Edit 2: Disabled Russel FCO and it gets a bit further, but then crashes. Back to square 1

Edit 3: Game launched and the screen flashed purple and went black, had no mouse control (Basically Edit 4, the purple flash stayed a bit longer and I saw the loading wheel, purple background, and a text box where a tip would be (now it plays a sound that your're equipping something, here's a screenshot, https://imgur.com/A9FW1cl ))

FINAL UPDATE: IT WORKS! It was WMX that was causing it for some reason

Disable all and enable 5 by 5 until you see where the crashing starts, narrow it down until you isolate the problem mod and then investigate why it is causing crashes

Advice - poor script heavy mods cause bad crashes from experience

Pretty sure that some mods don't like to be taken out mid-game, and cause more problems once supposedly uninstalled. I'm not sure NMM really properly removes all the pieces of all mods either.

I've often found that sometimes all I need to do is wipe a few recent corrupted saves and then it 'cleans' the crap out. If you're still using NMM (I would be surprised if so) it does have a problem at times of not completely uninstalling a mod. You can manually clean out the files or you can come to the dark side and use MO 2

Russel FCO is just a texture face as far as I know, so unless you're missing FCO and Russel,it shouldn't have made much of a difference.
Are you using New Vegas Anti-Crash, New Vegas Stutter Remover, and, if you're not using ENB, at least ENBboost with the right ram settings?

Alright I think it's finally good to go, I can run around Goodsprings with only a few errors popping up on the plants and the flora and Minor Texture issues but those can be resolved quick. Thank you all!
