| I'll most likely be sitting this one out, at the very least this is just a spin-off so they're free to experiment all they want.
I'll just wait for the next mainline game for as little as that means, assuming it hasn't been simplified ever more. |

| I already have negative views of Bethesda and how they treat Fallout. One of the only reasons why I bought Fallout 4 again on PC was to wait for Cascadia or Miami. So whatever happens, I'll just skip this one until Bethesda learns and creates a great game or allows Obsidian, CD Project Red or someone else to create a Fallout game (though I would have to see if their Fallout's are good or not). |

| I'm hesitant given the presence of PvP and no NPCs, that said it looks interesting to explore and I'm a hopeless shill for this franchise so I'll be getting it. Plan is to try and be one of the good guys, help out people where I can, that sort of deal. Besides, mod support could see some cool additions. |

| Nope, not interested in such crap, i'm gonna stay in the Mojave.
And oh boy, i doubt that the next Fallout, 5 maybe, will be any better, i have zero faith in Bugthesda.
They may be good at creating enviroments and locations, but they downright suck at writing a proper storyline and make a true RPG, plus, they're butchering the lore thus killing the franchise. _________________ - Kek:

| I'm optimistically cautious about Fallout 76, honestly. The game looks good, and the idea of finally playing Fallout with friends is a huge plus for me. But I probably won't put many hours into it, it'll be another pick-up-and-play game in my vast collection, if i buy it. But so far, looks decent and I will give it a try. |

| don´t know what i´m feeling, its mixed and different. i´m happy for a new fallout, but don´t know how it feels. the setting is cool and interessent, you can build the future but no npc´s only other gamers... its very difficult, i like to take screenshots, explore the map and thats the point when only pvp... don´t like it and never played it on eso so it´s a big deal when you can´t chance between pve and pvp in f76. |

| I can understand the backlash to an extent, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited. My first fallout was 3. My friend who I've know since I was a kid let me play it at his house, and I was instantly hooked. I remember after a few playthroughs with him over the course of the next few years, and the arrival of NV, how often we would talk about how cool it'd be to play together. The way we would've done missions, or fucked with npc's. This game is finally going to let us experience that.
I understand most people want their one player, solo, personal experience, and that's totally understandable, but I think this is great, personally. I'm more curious if they're going to have cross-play so I can play with friends. If not, I'll probably get it on the ps just so I can play with my two friends and kid brother (who are all also excited). I can't wait, and I hope it turns out well. I never got into ESO, but this I will probably give a go.
That being said, I AM a bit cautious about being TOO optimistic. I am not willing to swallow anything they throw out, which is why I've remained largely inactive on the site since FO4 (I wasn't playing any fallout at all after I beat vanilla 4, tbh). But with modding being a feature we'll see at least somewhat soon after realease, I may finally have a reason to start playing again, and interacting with the community. Hell, this might be what get's me checking out what mods 4 has to offer, being that it looks like 76 is a slightly more polished 4. Here's to hoping. _________________ "Something old, something new. | I've got to say I'm very disappointed with Fallout 76 it's such a radical departure from the rest of the series and games we've come to expect from BGS.
Even with always online, pvp, base building, emphasis on playing with others .... even the nukes, I was willing to give the game a try but what really killed it for me was the seemingly non existent story, no human npcs, so very likely shallow quests.
It's obvious the core of the game is base building and pvp which unfortunately I am not interested in at all. For someone who has no friends who play Fallout and very little interest in settlement building this is simply not the game for me and I'll be giving it a pass for come November, maybe over time the game will transform into a game everyone can enjoy and when that time comes I'll pick it up.
But I refuse to buy a game I won't like just because Fallout is in the title. That being said I hope those who do buy the game enjoy it immensely. _________________ - My Achievements:

| PVP + Building = Fortnite76
Jokes aside, I was looking forward to a new spinoff in the franchise. Sadly, the more info came out, the less interest I garnered for the game. If it had an offline option and (at least some) NPCs I'd have bought it, but in that state I'll probably skip it. I am actually surprised how divided the fanbase is on that one... |

| Yep, same. I wont make any assumptions about the game until I myself play it. Separating it from fallout I think as a game it might be fun.
(Also, I have lowered my expectations of games from bethsoft, because they never can top 1, 2 and NV) _________________ Man fears the darkness, and so he scrapes away at the edges of it with fire. |

| So this is basically Fallout 4 online? Could be fun. I'm not going to pretend like it'll be terrible, but I'm not all that excited. I was honestly hoping for another West coast Fallout.
That said, an online Fallout game might mean we don't get any single player Fallouts for sometime... which is not a good thing.
As for the game itself, I'll reserve my judgement. _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? This is how I always laugh! - Bow Down:

| I can't even imagine how a dozen random griefers will add to my fallout experience. I see no need for a battle royale skinned as fallout. Why would I want griefers to be able to launch nukes at me? It sounds like an experience with nothing beyond appearances in common with the fallout experience. And a bethesda game without mods? People want that? I guess some do.
How can we _possibly_ have a fallout experience with no npcs, just a dozen other players? What's even the point? |

| I can imagine it now. Walking out of the Vault, taking in my first breath of fresh wasteland air and then being annihilated by a 13 year old with a fucking fat man. Or even better, finally gaining enough materials through exploration to build a huge fortress that I can patrol and watch for enemies in then to see my decapitated corpse flying halfway across the map and a missile bombardment rain Armageddon on my poor little fortress, leaving nothing behind but a steaming crater and my hard earned loot.
That’s what makes a good Fallout game. Can’t wait. |

| Fallout it's my sancta sanctorum from my daily life stress and problems, the least thing i need it's to share my time with casual players or to have everthing i've builded ravaged by some one else...the only way i'll ever interact with fallout 76 will be when it's assets will be ripped and put here to be enjoyed inside fallout 4 |

| Not going for this one myself. I'll be honest. I haven't spent much time reading up on this one. From what I know, it's meant to be a multiplayer game. I'm happy for those who wanted this.
I've heard that the mods for it will only or mostly be available through Creation Club. Not sure how true that is. Online games usually don't allow mods from what I've seen. I guess it makes sense.
I'll wait on Fallout 5. _________________ |
