ok you need to set your expectations WAY low for mod support in this game. Bethesda may have said some Mod support is coming but it will be very limited. its an online shared world, so immediately that severely restricts the modding potential. Whatever mod support it does get will likely be through the creation club only. as for the game itself i might give it a try but its not for me. the problem with all these online only games is you need to focus entirely on that game to get the most out of it, and play it every day. That's just not the way i consume games. it does look fun though. - ahyuser001 wrote:

I definitely don't see one on there. Could just be late or Bethesda are looking at other options?? _________________ |

| @jourdan100I honestly think mods will work like keys to a game room, kinda like how it works on Rust. You can only join a game if you have the same mods as the creator of that private server(If it ever becomes a thing). But yeah set your expectations low in regards to modding as this is still unknown territory even for Bethesda. @celtic_spike It is just weird since almost all of their games are in Steam. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

So far I Bethesda is going to keep it with them I think. We will have to start up the game though their launcher. They have been slowly getting ready for this, from the steam paid mods, to the creation club, to their launcher and putting games on it. Just like mods they will be cutting out the middleman even on sales eventually. Wish It was steam though, not much we can do at this point but wait and see. _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni |

| It's gonna be online only if I'm not mistaken and I feel like they're going to use this as an opportunity to push the Creation Club, which will most likely be the only way to get mods in the game. It's a cash grab hidden behind one of the greatest ip's of all time. I hope I'm wrong honestly, but we'll have to see how it plays out... _________________ "Unique stuff is the treasure burrowed between shit" -Luka |

| @donta1979 I don't know. I mean look at ESO and their Creation Club games, those are on Steam so why the sudden exclusivity?(I kinda want to know the story behind this one now ) It is possible that the pre-order is only available on their site for beta testers but that doesn't really explain why it is available on Amazon. @GamerRaizen It was already stated in an interview that they will work on a way to make user mods work with Fallout 76 just not on launch day but I agree that Creation Club is a money grabbing scheme especially for console users(mostly PS4 users). They really do not have any choice tbh. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

Look at their launcher if you do not have it already, Creation Club is not on steam, you only use steam to purchase tolkens. The Creation Club, the free mods for PC, their website is all hosted on bethesda's side. Stuff on Bethesa.net's launcher now Creation Kit: Fallout 4 Creation Kit: Skyrim Dishonored 2 Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Fallout 76 Fallout Shelter Quake Champions The Eldar Scrolls: Legends The Evil Within 2 The Evil Within Digital Deluxe Wolfenstiend II: The New Colossus That list keeps growing, I imagine in the coming years it will all be on their launcher. ESO I imagine will make it on there soon as well. Bethesda has discovered the $$$$ that micro transactions bring, their launcher that can send more cash their way, Look at all the etailers selling Fallout 76 Amazon/Walmart/BestBuy/GameStop even cdkeys.com is selling it. But not Valves's Steam yet something is up. Fallout 4 went up just as they announced it on steam as well. This time around nope. None of the titles up for pre order are available on steam yet but they are available everyplace else. This is pushing towards Bethesda is going to push their launcher hard. _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni |

| @donta1979 Now that I think about it you always have to login to your bethesda.net account to get access to Creation Club. Yeah you are right. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| Lots of people have mixed feelings for Fallout 76, and most of the time their points are valid. 76 doesn't really seem to bring anything new to the table as far as I know, other than multiplayer, and that doesn't really fit with the Fallout setting. Sure, people who got into Fallout from 4 through the expanded audience tend to follow the trend of tacking multiplayer on to everything they touch, and Beth was probably more than happy to do so to make the big bucks.
Also, the settlement creator mechanics were something I avoided like the plague in F4, and that seems to be getting a big boost and actually being the center of the game this time around. I'm not going to go as far as to avoid playing the game, because that would just be me being dishonest, but I'd definitely wait for it to come out and have everyone blow it out before I drop any money on it. |

| It looks at interesting to say the least. We have not seen enough though to say anything definitive about it. Once we get a look at the quests we will be able to say for sure whether or not they made a mistake with the multiplayer route. |
