| I was able to save just enough money to buy a GTX1080, I probably have a good 110 active plugins and many of those are graphic enhancers including the essentials like Ojo Bueno and NMC's. I'm getting a stable 50-60 FPS, although with mods such us Open Strip/Freeside it drops dramatically to around 25-35 when residing in those areas of the game. I'm very curious as to who has previously used Ordenator before and if you can give feedback as to how much of an FPS boost it provides as I'm a bit skeptical (and fkn lazy) to go through with it, especially since reading some comments on how installing it is apparently easy to mess up.
Thanks everyone.
(Move this discussion if necessary, I'm new and wasn't sure where it should be posted, sorry in advance.) _________________ ye nah ye ye nah nah nah |

| Hello!
Yeah i use it myself, it's pretty useful and reliable, specially if you have a slow pc, the thing compresses the textures without quality lose, this improves your performance pretty neat! though i'd recommend you to avoid using textures that are +2k unless it's for armors, weapons and big clutter, it's stupid the amount of stuff that users(in nexus) retextures to 4k or 2k with things that are so small in game. _________________ - Kek:

| One thing I'm sure of is that Open Strip and Freeside Open is one tough mod to run, even Gopher had a hard time running it because of how unstable those places get (mainly why it was cut from the base game) It's only gonna get a lot worse once you have heavy texture mods in your list. I doubt that optimizing the textures will even fix the stuttering and fps problems in those areas if you have those mods.
New Vegas is an old game. Printerkop told before that no matter how strong your machine is, the game simply couldn't handle high textures well. So even if you have an i7 7700k and couple with a powerful card, 16gb ram, best motherboard, best cooling, etc it will still struggle to run well with super jesus graphics mods thanks to the optimization. |

| I would recommend getting rid of these Freeside and Strip Open mods, it can cause issues with certain custom quest mods
A mod you could download too is "FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting" not only it gets rid of that orange tint and other shit and improves the games visual but Improves your FPS as well (i know because thats what happened when i installed it) _________________ |
