I have a busy life, side projects, my hobby, work with my game, freelance. I do not have the time I once had, my mod is ready for porting for 3 but have to find the files, I have a power armor version and a regular clothing version for 4 at 80-90% done but the big issue is time. So what do you all think unlock it for the public?

I'm no mod author, I can't create content worth antpiss, but personally, I believe its totally up to you. Not helpful, I know. But it's your work, and therefore you can do whatever you feel is best for it, or what you want to do with it.

You just have to be prepared that it may be taken and uploaded somewhere else without prior notification, for better or for worse. After that? Again, its your work. Do what you will.

You could release it to the Public I guess under the pretext that anyone could work on where you left off although it does increase the chance of someone just stealing it without crediting you. If you are not that bothered by that then I guess there is not harm in a public release.

Personally I recommend entrusting this to a modder who would credit you if they finish your mod.

At this point I am just too busy to care, and if someone does steal it to make money they get to answer to microsoft not me at the end of the day. Am letting the public do as they wish. I simply do not have the time or the patience to talk to a bunch of people wanting to work on it. Just going to let people have some fun and what will be will be. There will always be a road that leads back to me on it as well as all the original file. All I ask is people that want to do their own thing give credit and a link back to me. I am also sure the modding community if it is stolen will go after whoever it is anyways if an issue comes up.

I am sorry to hear you will not be finishing your mod but I understand life circumstances change and applaud the fact that you don't just say to heck with it and disappear. Given the discussion above, I wish you well in all your future endeavors and hope the community lives up to your expectations.
