| I've been looking around on the site for some time and it surprises me to see people still making FO4 mods over FNV. I guess I'm surprised because most people still consider FNV the better game. Is FO4 still getting new stuff because it's more recent? It's easier to make mods for? If possible, I would love to hear from the perspective of a mod maker. Thanks everyone! |

| from what i've seen on here and other modding websites (like Nexus for example) even "Oldrim" (original Skyrim) still get new mods from modders on a regular basis. i personally have quite a few New Vegas and Fallout 3 mods in progress, and i'm not entirely sure about other mod authors but there's easily a dozen (bare minimum) new mods for Vegas each month from popular mod sites also, not sure about anyone else, but FNV and FO3 are way easier to make mods for when it comes to scripting and cell editing among other things, since my computer doesn't crash every 3 seconds like it does with the Skyrim/FO4 Creation Kit |

| A bunch of great mods for FO4 have even been getting FNV releases. Live Dismemberment for one just released for FNV the other day on the Nexus, and Quicksilver5000 - a quality author made a cool mod in conjunction from deadspace. Point is, it feels like FNV is coming back to life, but its just the very beginning. FO4 gets most of the content because it is newer, but it seems like the recent activity from the big Overhauls like Frontier and New California are slowly drawing the user base back. | We're in a golden age for New Vegas I think. People playing on the release date would have dropped jaws if they could see a fully modded game of today. Frontier and New California are probably going to feel like new DLCs, if not even better. Drag's overhauls put faces in that I like more than Skyrim or Fallout 4. The modding scene isn't dying, it's if anything maturing into something grand. |

| The Nexusmods for New Vegas have been pretty deadish since 2015, a few things here and there of note but for the most part peeps over there have moved on.
In regards to GUNetwork, I would say very much so do people still make mods. Last year and 2016 had some of the best mods I've seen for FNV, and the best is still yet to come. _________________ |

| I feel that New Vegas is going to see a resurgance in mods in the coming years; due to the nature of the game and how it is the easiest to go back to out of 3, 4, and vegas. Seeing as fallout 4 is almost 3 years old at this point, it is about time to revisit one of the best games in the series. This will only be helped by the fact that mods such as fallout: new california are going to release soon; this possibly spurring even more excitement around the game. _________________ Danny Devito Fan.Diabetes Boy.Human.Male.In That Order... |

| Well theres the Frontier and New California like projects that exist, Project 42, and my favorite A Brave New World... i'd say people still do and will still continue to do so.
mod like "Live Dismemberments" keeps me checking the New Vegas nexus _________________ |

| "Sheets" is a sadly obscure mod that shows that there might be a chance to put new card games into New Vegas. I think it was abandoned though, I'll have to check back again to see what's up. But new card games are something I was always surprised never happened. They're putting card games, including poker, into Fallout 4. I have to hope that this will be one of the mods back-engineered into new vegas someday. |

| Oh man people still make mods for New Vegas. Its just that...its not anymore at its most frenzy state. Most probably people already moved on to others games and real life priorities had to be set first before mod making too. The most active dudes out there are @quicksilver500 , roybatty and his friends, the creators of New California, SuBNeRoCL, and of course Decer. Well they're the ones that I often see in the nexus. I don't play new vegas anymore, but every now and then I check the nexus for mods and they are the ones on the front page. |

| Fallout 4 Nexus is desperately empty when it comes to mods that bring real content to game (locations, quests, new lands, other stuff). 90% of mods are "tits-armor" and weapons (not even sayng about all this -omg cool tits preset-, eeeh, "mods"). I don't treat it as real game extending content. In last three weeks New Vegas had bunch of new quest mods and new really cool gameplay impromevent mods (live dismemberment as example). Fallout 4 has one (one!!!) new quest mod for last two (or maybe even three) months. This fact clearly shows that New vegas *real* modding is way more live that F4. Proof, very clear comprasion of hotfiles from nexus: - Spoiler:
When Frontier, New Californis and other WIP projects will become live, I'm sure that many people will come back to NV again. |

| There are quest mods, but they're harder on fallout 4 because of the voiced player. I don't hate voiced players like some people, but they do make quest modds a little more complicated, if you want the mod to look like it was part of the original game (which some mods actually do a good job of doing, especially in NV.) |

| If you haven't already, i recommend reading some of the GUN community interviews with Dragbody - one of the longest standing of GUN/FNV veterans. His recent talk with Someguy2000 was really neat, and shed some light on the development and hiatus side of FNV modding. Worth a read _________________ so what i am supposed to do with this? Eat it?

| I've heard that dragbody's planning on overhauling more new vegas characters, because he said that his NPC overhaul mod (Doc Mitch, Veronica) was a taste of things to come. He's a great modder, but the stuff he does still takes time, so don't expect new stuff too soon. Also The Frontier is coming along nicely and New Cali is pretty much done.
@Allnarta about the tit outfits, a lot of them, especially Niero's ones, are extremely well made. I get that you don't consider them as actual content, I don't really, either, but they are pretty good. _________________ - Click for Skinner:
