| Ok so I’ve seen people with total reworks of games and some with a few mods just to make the game look pretty, I was wondering how many active mods and total mods everyone has installed. To see this LOOT can be a lot of help. Look in the ‘General information’ section and look for ‘Active plugins’ and ‘Total plugins’…or just count.
I’m including any fallout game for this.
…also maybe don’t write out every mod you have, that may take a while. But if you do want to mention and recommend any mods then that is good. There could be some hidden gems out there that some people haven’t heard of before.
I have 114 Active plugins and 131 Total plugins
Personally I recommend the “Mad Science” mod on the nexus for Fallout New Vegas, very fun and very awesome. |

| My FNV(and FO3) has about 49 while my FO4 has 89. FNV obviously great mods would be Project Nevada, NV Bounties, and anything by Millennia. I'd also suggest mod overhauls by Dragbody( the NCR one especially) _________________ "Time and tide waits for no man" - Geoffrey Chaucer

| @"thepirateofthegame" How stable is your game with that many? I know on FNV if I have about 120 I start to get a lot of crashes….to be fair could have been certain mods conflicting.
I need to test it properly one day. |

| @PresidentWalru5 Fallout 4 can handle more mods by my knowledge, as it is 64 bit. Personally I run 50 mods right now on Fallout 4, while I have 135 for my FNV/TTW. |

| @Corvo Ah ok, honestly I haven’t had too much experience with modding Fallout 4 as I much prefer New Vegas so I don’t really know what the limits are for it. Fallout 4 isn’t a bad game though.
@PsychicKaiser That’s fair enough, this year I’ve wiped and re-modded FNV 2 or 3 times, either because I’ve broken it and was too tired to sort it out or I wanted to change it up. |

| I have 247 active plugins in fallout 4, and it is still playable! I will check F03 and FNV. I am finally discovering tale of two wastelands and trying to figure out if my mods would work there (just the monster mod and sprint mod lol). |

| Right now for Fallout 4 I think have around 15-20. Most are new ones I downloaded to try out. Normally I have one ESP and I move everything from a mod to my personal ESP if I like it. I like keeping everything I need to change or add into one esp. Makes keeping track of everything easier for me. Takes forver though. I`ve been slacking with all the playing and no modding lately. |

You are going to love TTW. If I remember right most of the monster mods would give issues with it. There were guys making patches on their site to fix it all though. I just had bad luck running the monster mods. It would run fine for a few days or possibly weeks, then random crashes left and right. Disabling the mm would always fix it. |

| I'm currently running 112 pug-ins on FO4, it runs pretty well dispute my mediocre rig. Most are weapons and armor with a few good graphics and weather mods.
I'd recommend "True Storms" weather mod and the "Fallout Seasons" series of mods as they are not too hardware reliant and can make a real difference to the games appearance. |

| @"GoofyGoo6er" That’s the most I’ve heard of so far and I’m impressed that it’s still working! I guess Fallout 4 does have a better basis for modifying it. Really wish New Vegas had that, although you can change the game up pretty heavily.
@"Banewrath" Oh, I’m the opposite when it come to that, I start a playthrough and then when I take a break from playing I tend to think of new playthroughs and then I start the game again to play the scenarios I thought of, then i get side tracked again with new mods. It’s like a curse with me. And the one single ESP idea is pretty good, I’ve never really thought about doing that.
@"Greensmirf" I definitely agree with your recommendations, I used them myself when I played through fallout 4, true storms is fantastic (may or may not have had it raining most of the time…rain is good ok?) and the seasons is great for overhauling the environment on new playthrough. I know its pretty impossible but if they could have them change automatically that would be awesome. |

I take a break and then start playing and stop when I get to part or place I want to change then mod for days straight then go back to playing. I don`t know if I have more hours playing or modding. The single ESP is nice but it takes time updating it all the time. Most times I will just use assets from other mods and incorporate them into my ESP the way I like. I have so many weapon mods now that I normally don`t add them to lvled lists. I`ll place one or two around in the gameworld. Like the chinese stealth suit and assault rifle I added in and just put them at the bottom of the chinese submarine. Since I forget where exactly it is on the map, when I eventually do find it I`m pretty happy about it. Haha. |

| @"Banewrath" I should probably try that one day, it seems like an efficient thing to do and the idea of forgetting about it (like you said about placing it in the submarine) and then rediscovering it is something I quite enjoy, The Mad Science mod I suggested does just that, throughout the game you can go into your pipboy notes from time to time and would probably find that you have written down like a new weapon idea or a cool thing you saw on your travels, like if you get ED-E you’ll make a note and get something to make from it or If you disassemble a recharger pistol you’ll reverse engineer it to replenish drained energy ammo. It’s a lot of fun.

| Right now, I'm doing a mod-free Fallout 4 playthrough, just because I noticed I spent more time installing and tweaking than actually playing. I have some mods prepared to be installed in my next playthrough though, and there are 260 (.zips really, as there are some mods with many files). I will only install about 240. For Fallout 3 115 and in New Vegas 75. But don't be fooled. It's quality over quantity. Also, I'll be adding dragbody's faction overhauls as soon as I can, and, if I'm worthy, his commonwealth imports. That, plus some other commonwealth mods I've seen in this website, like Commonwealth Surplus by aarius, Commonwealth Aesthetics by kiionohi, or the Fallout 4 PipBoy port from aarius as well, make a few more. Surprisingly, Fallout 3 runs smoother than New Vegas ( What's going on here?) even with mods. And don't get me started about TTW... That makes serious metaphoric performance holes through my computer. Such a pitty , it's a great mod Sadly, I don't think I have anything no one has seen before. _________________ AID AT A MINUTE'S NOTICE! |
